Ross POV
Finally all this drama is over and I can finally take Laura out on our first official date..
But how do I ask her? I could do what other people do.. But I want to ask her out in a special way. Hmm..
I walk to my desk in my room and write down a list of potential ways to ask her out.
I could get a huge sign on a plane.. Too expensive. Hmm.. Maybe text her, no. Umm... Wait how about just do something nice. Maybe bring her flowers! And WRITE A POEM!! okay now I have stuff to do.
First things first: I have to come up with a poem then go get flowers then go ask her out. Well better get started.
Laura.. Laura.. Laura.
She is so beautiful, adorkable, and smart. Her dark brown eyes and her ombré hair. Her kissable, soft pink lips. I'm really falling for her. After about an hour I come up with this.
The weather changes
The skies turn a deeper blue
When you walk by
Or I bump into you
A sweet melody
Fills the backdrop
That is when everything
Suddenly comes to a stop
Even just your presence
Seems so magical
My dream of being with you
I want to make real
Will you go out with me?
Oh wait.. I'm just asking her out on a date.. Hmm maybe I'll just ask her if she is busy tomorrow..
The next day:
I wake up and I take a shower and get dressed. I go downstairs and see that it's only 8:00. Nobody is awake yet. I eat some cereal and go upstairs. I sit on my bed playing on my phone, then I glance out my window and I see a familiar face jogging down the street. It's Laura! I better go catch her!
I rush downstairs and slip on some shoes and run up to her.
"Hey Ross, I didn't know you went for jogs in the morning at 8:30 am."
"Oh yeah.. I go everyday. I usually run pretty fast, that's why you don't see me."
"Oh.. Your one of them fast runners eh? Well that's good that you were running late.. We can jog together."
"Awesome!"
"So I was wondering.. Are you busy tomorrow?"
"Actually no why?"
"Well, I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go out sometime? And it's totally cool if you don't want to.."
"I'd love to!"
"Great!"
"Well I turn here, catch you later Ross!"
"Bye!"
She jogs away and I stop, watching her run away with her pony tail swaying side by side.
Now I just have to figure out a place to bring her for a date and the fine details. Oh yeah. And I have to ask her out.
