Chapter 17: 106th Graduation (Part three)

3RD PERSON POV

"I promise that I won't leave the two of you whatever happens."

Mikasa's gray eyes and Armin's blue ocean eyes glistened with jubilation and lit with joy as their eyes fixed on Eren's face who's gazing on the endless sky above. Armin shifted his gaze to Mikasa and meet her glistening gray eyes struck by Eren's words, they both let out a calming smile, they knew ever since Eren was a kid he always kept his promises up until now. The raven haired girl and the blonde boy nod at each other and returned their gaze on the sky above, stars were shimmering, there's distant humming of the birds with their calming voices, and the sound of the river splashing on the shore beneath them. The cold breezy night and the rustling of leaves adding to the calmness of the environment around them, even though the night is cold there's a contradiction, the trio were closed to each other, it's enough to keep them warm as their body arms slightly brushes to each others.

The blonde boy and the raven girl eyes filled with calmness, they thought it'll last forever. Finally they did it again spending their time together with Eren gazing at the majestic view. Mikasa's and Armin's worries depleted and then some how disappeared, however it's different in Eren's part, as he stare at the sky above he's recalling every dreams that he saw, wondering if it's really future memories or just a strange nightmares, however he hopes that those were just his strange nightmares because if it's real he don't know what he might do.

Meanwhile Armin is still collecting his thoughts about earlier.

(Armin's thoughts)
I shouldn't have interfere their moment together, anyways I don't regret it. But something is bothering me. It seems Eren is in his deep thoughts.
Eren and Mikasa is so obvious, so it's useless hiding what they're doing in front of me. I'm just waiting for them to confess their love to me, they should just confess what kind of relationship they're in, that's all they need to do, but why? I guess I'll just wait, someday they'll tell. I don't want to interfere with them.

Armin decided to break the silence, his serious ocean eyes diverted to Eren who's gaze still fixated above the sky. "I thought you're gonna punch me earlier, your eyes clearly said the you're annoyed and y-your fist... They slightly clenched y-you know... When I ruined your moment together-."

"Armin." Eren's emerald eyes shifted to his male friend. "There's no way I'm going to do such thing, I would never gonna hurt you."

"Really?" Armin said, there's hint of relief in his voice.

Eren paused as his eyes widened and mouth slightly went agape. His emerald eyes is fixated on Armin's. A wave of memories flew through his mind, the dream or nightmare that he saw.

Eren sighed.

(Eren's thoughts)
It's just a nightmare right? Why would I hurt my friend. But it still feel so real.

"Hey are you okay?" Armin confusedly asked, Interrupting his preoccupied friend.

"Y-yeah Im fine." Eren's gaze returned towards the sky above and then said "Armin it's true I would never think of...hurting you." His last two words were muffled as the strange memories of him and Armin flooded his mind.

ARMIN'S POV

I sighed in relief easing my anxiety. Im relief that Eren will not do something to hurt me. I know he won't because I'm his best buddy.

As I watch Eren
Eren sighed in exasperation, he then starts massaging his temples with his right hand and exclaimed. "DAMN IT."

My brows furrowed, wondering what on earth is happening to my friend.
