Chapter 19: 58Th Expedition Beyond The Walls (Part Two)

3RD PERSON POV

"Sasha, relay the message to the right wing, tell them to avoid engaging titans as much as possible and proceed directly towards the forest." Erwin said. "And you Connie do the same at the left wing, Jean warn the right wing, dont let the titans swarm the supply carts MOVE!"

"ROGER!!" They yelled in unison.

Mikasa, Armin, Eren, and Hanji is riding near Erwin with full of anticipation, at this point they're unsure on how the frontline will handle the Titans swarming them.

Hanji knew this, if the titans destroyed the frontline the supply squad will be overrun. Commander Erwin gave Hanji the authority to become the squad leader of Eren, Armin, and Mikasa.

The forest is now visible but still far away it only look near because the forest were compose of giant trees.
Hanji moved her horse to Erwin's side to open a suggestion. "Erwin, the front line, I don't know if Levi squad can manage, clear the way. The clear flat environment will be a struggle eliminate them, should I send Mikasa to warn them?"

"I know, the center ranks will enter the forest, and the right wing and and left wing will proceed at the side of the forest." Erwin nonchalantly said. "Send Mikasa to aid Levi and his squad, it's crucial to not let the titans get to our position, we can't afford to use Eren's power yet."

Hanji nodded.

She shifted her gaze towards Eren who's emerald eyes are eyeing the twenty red smoke soaring over the sky.

"Eren as much as possible you're not allowed to transform nor to engage titans." Hanji said. "Wait for Erwin's commandments."

Eren clenched his grip to the reign of his horse. "Yeah." Eren said as he nodded.

"Mikasa! I want you to go and join Levi squad at the summit of the front wing." Hanji yelled alarming Mikasa who's riding besides Eren.

Mikasa nodded. "Eren, see you later."
Mikasa said stealing a glance at Eren.

Eren nodded, his eyes were stoic but deep inside him he's a little worried for her.

Mikasa smiled and then proceeded to increase her pace leaving them behind.

"Hyah!" Mikasa huffed as she kick the side of her horse to catch up some more speed, she also duck to gain aerodynamics that will help increase her pace.

Her gray eyes wander around her sorrounding, after a couple of minutes she then see the other twenty Scouts who's riding ahead of them earlier, with her haste she went passed the line of them.

After the rough five minutes Mikasa saw a another group of Scouts that consist of also twenty person riding in a line formation, she familiarise the woman in the center and recognized that it's Rico Brzenska presumably their squad leader.

I finally arrived at the front wing but where is the Levi squad? Mikasa wondered.

She proceed towards towards Rico who's in the middle of the line.

She then catched up to Rico's side. "Rico where's the Levi Squad?"

"They're far ahead, I don't know maybe clearing out the titans for the center ranks." Rico said looking towards Mikasa from her peripheral vision as she rides. "What's the order from Erwin? I saw a lot of red smokes appeared."

"The order is to eliminate the titan that's heading this way." Mikasa said. "That's all."

Rico nodded.

Suddenly a series of dead evaporating titan covered with steam passed them. About fifteen of them scattered in every direction, Mikasa eyes widen.

"I need to go." Mikasa muttered.
