𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 | 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐭 𝐱 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫

When he shows us the room we would be sleeping in, I noticed beds, actual beds, not hammocks.

We all jumped on top of them and started laughing,

"Oh I could get used to this" Mihno smiles, we all smiled back but I think half of us knew that everything was going to be different now,

"Lets get rid of that smell before you stain my sheets" The man, Janson, said as he walked us to the bathrooms.

I had never showered before, or from what I can remember, We all piled into separate showers and stripped, 

"Okay, lets all turn them on on the count of three" Thomas yelled, "1!"

"2!" Newt yelled,

"3!" we all yell and we all turned the tap on and sighed in pleasure at the same time, some of us had years to wash off. I watched all the muck be washed off my body and down the drain, and then the familiar colour of red started to form very vaguely in the water, I didn't know where it was being washed off nor did I want to. 

I looked down to my stomach and realized I had 2 or 3 little stretch marks, how did I not notice those?  I suppose maybe because this is the first time I can recall ever seeing my naked body let alone my stomach, just the look of them made me panic a little.

I had my back facing the curtain that was shielding my naked body from the world when It quickly flashes open and suddenly my clothes are gone, nothing but my towel was left, I turn off the shower.

"Oh you guys are so dead" I chuckle wrapping the towel around my wet body and stepping out to where I see only Fry, Mihno and Newt standing in their towels clinging onto their waists petrified, 

"I knew this was a bad idea! She survived bloody 2 nights in the maze and a griever attack" Fry says backing away with wide eyes, I turn to face Newt who looked like he had just seen a ghost, or was about to see his own.

"Newt..." I say grinning,

"No. Don't smile like that, you know it scares Thomas" He says covering Thomas' eyes has he walked out of his shower, I laugh,

"Just give my clothes back" I chuckle walking towards Mihno who had my clothes together in one hand, as soon as I got close enough, he shoved them all into my arms and backed away with Fry,

"Jesus what'd I miss?" Teressa laughs walking up behind me,

"Are you all done in there?" A feminine voice says through the door to the showers,

"Yup" We all murmur,

"Come with me so I can get you some new clothes" She says swinging the door open and we all slowly migrate towards her, she takes us to this room with a bunch of clothing, she gives me some grey track pants and a tight blue crop-top and a grey jumper to wear over the top.

She takes us back to the room with all the beds, we all sit there for a few minutes when Janson comes back and asks Teressa to go with him, he said he'll talk to us later.

We all settle into bed but none of us can seem to sleep.

"Everyone alright?" Thomas asks, but nobody says anything.

Not another word is said for the rest of the night, we all, slowly, one by one, drift off.
