𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 | 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐭 𝐱 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫

We're all in the car now knowing we were going to be safe within a few hours, Newt was sitting in the front with Jorge with Mihno behind the passenger seat, Aris behind the drivers seat, Thomas in the middle and Me, Fry, Brenda and Teressa in the boot, I was changing my bandage when Brenda finally speaks up, 

"How do you not remember me?" She asks, I look up at her,

"I remember you a little bit now, but at wicked, they wiped our memories and sent us up into this massive maze for testing" 

"What?" She asks leaning forward, I look at Fry who was sitting next to me, he nods, I explain everything that happened in the maze, she was stunned, Fry and Teressa helped me explain.

When we finished, the car had stopped and we all got out, 

"Well, I guess we're on foot" Jorge says as we get out and look at the road which was filled with broken down cars, we walked through the cars, Newt and my hands somehow ended up intertwined, we were looking at the cars when suddenly someone tried to shoot us with a sniper, "GET DOWN!" Jorge yells,

We all rolled behind cars hiding from the shooter, 

"Hey! Is everyone okay out there?" Thomas yells,

"We're fine!" Teressa yells back, 

"Anyone know where those bloody shots came from?" Newt asks, Jorge said something but it was inaudible from where I was, I had hid behind a car by myself, I looked at my shoulder as it started to hurt again, it was heavily bleeding again,

"Shit!" I say un wrapping the fabric I had literally just tied on as it had already drenched through, I notice an orange and green goo oozing out of it and the skin around the small wound going purple, I couldn't explain how it was still bleeding but it was clearly infected.

"Y/n you alright?" Fry asks, I don't answer as I'm panicking because my arm is loosing blood fast,

"Y/n?" Newt asks, a puddle started to form and was seeping under the car, 

"Shit shit shit" I mutter not knowing what to do,

"Guys', there's blood" Teressa points out, I started to feel a little light headed, 

" I'm fine" I was not, "My arms just fuckin bleeding again, and its all infected" I say trying to keep calm even though I was hyperventilating, 

"Can you stop it?" Aris asks,

"nothing a cloth can do" I say pressing my hand to the wound trying to put pressure, Thomas and Jorge are devising a plan but I can barely hear what their saying all I can hear is when an unfamiliar voice starts talking, 

"Drop it" She  says, "Now!" she demands, the bleeding in my arm has calmed down a little bit but I'm still loosing blood, "I said drop it!" I assume they put whatever they were holding down, "On your feet! Lets go! Lets Go! Move!" She yells, "Back Up!"

"Easy" Jorge says, 

"You Two over here now!" She yells, 

"Come on! Lets go!" Another voice chimes in, 

"Don't be stupid! Move" The first voice says again, everything's quiet for a moment until one of the girls recognizes one of us, "Aris?"

"Oh my god!! Harriet?"

"Oh my god! What the hell are you doing here!?" She  asks I assume embracing him in a hug, 

"Sonya!" He says hugging the other one, 

"Aris your lucky we didn't shoot your dumb ass" She says, I hear running footsteps coming over to where I'm still sitting, Newt and Mihno crouch down beside me, my head is pounding, my visions starting to go hazy and I don't know how long I'll last if I keep loosing blood,

"Holy shit" Mihno says putting his hand where mine was letting me drop mine, a bunch of other footsteps walk up to us too and everyone's saying things like "Oh my god!" "Jesus Christ" or asking if I'm alright, 

"Did we hit her?" Sonya asks worried,

"No this happened last night" Thomas says just remembering that happened, 

"This is Y/n" Aris says looking up at the girls, he's couched down by my feet with his hand on my ankle in attempt to comfort me, They help me up and help me put pressure on my wound, they take us somewhere where we board a truck to take us to the Right Arm base.

When we do arrive, we all pile out of the truck and Harriet and Sonya lead us to a man named Vince, he asks for us to be checked when suddenly Brenda collapses, she's gasping for air,

"Brenda!" Jorge says, "Talk to me!"

"I'm Sorry, I'm sorry" Is all she's saying,

"What's going on with her?" Vince asks bending down next to Jorge, 

"I don't know, Brenda are you alright?" Jorge asks, "Brenda, talk to me"

"What the hell?" Vince asks pulling up her jeans at the bottom, "Oh Shit!" He says bouncing back and pulling out his gun, "Crank! We got a Crank!" He says pointing the gun and Bren,

"NO!" Jorge yells, Thomas pounces forwards, we're all panicking that they are gonna kill Brenda, We're all yelling at them to stop, 

"No Look! It's just happened she's not dangerous yet!" Thomas yells at him,

"Well you shouldn't have brought her here!" Vince point out, 

"I know-"

"We let cranks in here now, the safe haven won't last a week!" Vince yells, "Step Back!"

"I understand okay? Alright, I understand, but just listen, Please? Please Alright I told her you can help" Thomas says, "Okay?" Brenda is still gasping for air on the floor, "There's gotta be something you can do?"

"Yeah, there is" Vince says, he cocks the gun, "I can put her out of her misery"

"No! No!" We all yell,

"Vince! Thats enough! Let him go!" A woman's voice yells,  "Let him go!"

"She's infected Doc" Vince says to the woman who is now standing by his side, "There's nothing we can do for  her" I look at her face, but she's staring at Thomas,

"No, but  he can"  She says nodding at Thomas, they took Her and Thomas into a tent, I was starting to bleed out again and becoming light headed, I had already lost a lot of blood and I was struggling to stand, I almost fall over when I catch myself, everyone's heads turn to me and remember I was bleeding out when Sonya reaches for me and helps me stand, Harriet leads us to a tent, nobody follows, 

"I'll go get Mary" Harriet says, Sonya nods helping me lye down, she sits in the seat next to me, I'm now struggling to stay conscious, she takes my hand in hers, 

"We're going to make sure everything's alright, I promise" She says, 

"Thankyou" I manage to say before everything fades to black.
