Chris's POV

I woke up and it was a normal Friday. I got up. Showered, changed and went downstairs. Alexis was eating and studying. "You ready for your exam?" She looked up from her book. "Yeah. After school can I go to Jack's house for a little?"

"Jacks the boy who you went to the movies with?" She just nodded in response because she had food in her mouth. "That's fine but be home by five." She nodded and went back to eating and studying. At eight o'clock she headed to school and I went to my office for a bit.

I went to pick up Alexis today after school so we could have lunch together. Go somewhere she wanted. Of course she always wanted to go the diner. We got and were seated we ordered drinks. "Okay so Chris I'm about to do something and you can't hate me." What is she talking about? "Julie!" I see Julie turn around and face her and Alexis motions her to come over. "Alexis. Chris."

"Julie sit with us." That's why she said I can't hate her. "Oh I'm sorry Alexis but I can't I have to go back to my apartment and pack." So she started packing. "Please. Just sit and eat with us then you go back."

"Alexis she has things to. And you barely know her." She turns to me. "Your not helping and Julie seems nice is it wrong that I want to be friends with her." She really doesn't understand. "We talked about this yesterday remember. Julie if you have things to do-"

"Actually I can make some time. Besides I'm curious to know what you said about me yesterday." Of course she is. She's lucky she's cute. Shit. I should not be calling her cute. What is she doing to me? Alexis moved over more and she sat down next to her. I got a call. "I have to take this."

"But Chris you said this would be us spending time together no work calls." How do put this nicely. Actually I don't think there is a way to put this nicely. "Alexis this is the Russian Don if I don't answer I could lose the alliance. We'll spend time together after I take this call." I get up and walk outside.

Julie's POV

I feel bad for Alexis. But I also get were Chris is coming from. The Russian Don is important. "Hey Alexis how about this. How about after food you ask your brother if I could take you shopping." She looks at me. "What? You wanna take me shopping."

"Well your brother has to work. You wanna get to me better. We can go shopping and then back to my apartment until your brother is finished working and he can pick you up." She smiles. "Yeah I'll ask him." Chris sits back down and food comes. The waitress had taken my order while he was outside. "Chris I have a question?" Alexis said though she was shy about. Chris looks then at her. "Yes Alexis." "Can I hang out with Julie while you work?"

"I thought you were going to Jack's after this." I'm guessing Jack is her boyfriend. "Jack is going out of town for the weekend. He told me at school he found out this morning. Please Chris, let me hang out with Julie." She's such a sweet girl. Hard to believe Chris is related to her. "I'm guessing you had something to do with this." Chris looked at me. "No need to be an ass Chris. You have work and I simply offer to watch her for you. I take it if I were you."

He's not gonna win this and he knows it he's just being difficult. "Fine." A smile forms on her face while he pulls something out of his pocket. His wallet. "Here..." He hands a credit card to his sister. "Nothing more than three hundred got it?" Three hundred dollars? He lets her spend that much. I wish I had three hundred dollars to spend on clothes and shoes. I need to save so I can look for a apartment. "Julie?" His voice snapped me back to reality. "You okay?" I look over to Alexis who asked the question. "Yeah I'm fine. Come on." I stand up and she slides out the booth. Chris stands up and goes over to pay.

"This is gonna more fun then staying home." I would've thought she had friends to hang out with. I mean I didn't because of who my father was and maybe people are scared of her because of Chris. There scared of him so they stay away from her. He seems sweet when he's around his sister.
