We went to the mall. "So where do you want to go first?" We went to Nordstrom Rack. Lily had gotten a dress and a pair of wedge sandal. I got a pair of sneakers and sunglasses. Then we went to Ulta. I got two eyeshadow palettes and Lily got mascara and an eyeshadow palette.

Next was Pacsun. Lily got a pair of jeans, two shirts, a dress and a necklace. I got two dresses, a pair of jeans, and three shirts. I was debating on getting a necklace but I have the one Chris got me. Then Shein. I got a oversized tee-shirt, two pairs of jeans, a hoodie and a skirt. Lily got three pairs of jeans, two pairs of shoes, and one shirt. After shopping we got froyo and lunch and then I dropped her off back at her apartment. I stopped at a book store on the way home. I got a two books for me. Which were 'Red, White and Royal Blue', 'The Art of Deception'. I got Alexis 'Boyfriend Material'. I thought she would like it. I payed and went home. I walked in and Alexis was at the barstool doing homework and Chris was helping her. "Julie! Please come help me Chris is no help. I had five bags in my hands. I put them down and pulled out the book I got for Alexis.

I walked over and put it next to her. "Here I got you something. I read that when I was around your age so I thought you might like it." She hugged me. "Thank you."

"Where were you?" I looked at her and not the math problem in front of her. "I went to the mall with Lily and stopped at the book store on the way home. Now this math problem." Her smiled turned into a pout. 2(3+4x) was the problem. "Well you need to simply it and then solve it. Do that if it you still have trouble I'll help you." She gave Chris a look before doing the problem.

"Alexis don't give me that look. I don't have to this you do." He pulled out his phone and looked at something before he put it away.

About ten minutes later. "Okay Julie am I right?" I walked over and looked at it. "Yes but it's 8x + 6 not 8 + 6x." She nodded and change it. "Thank you Julie. I'll be upstairs." She went upstairs and I went to the room to put everything away. I started by putting the makeup in the vanity. Then I moved to putting the clothes away when I saw Chris standing in the doorway. "Yes?"

"I'm sorry we couldn't do the picnic date you planned. But I have a surprise for you tonight." I mean I get he had to work but he could've token a break for an hour or so. "Okay. What time?" He walked over and helped me put the last of the clothes on hangers. "You free now?" "I don't know. I have to work to." I said with sarcasm. He pulled me into a kiss. "Come on." I went with him and he covered my eyes. We were outside I could tell. When he uncovered my eyes I saw a picnic with some candles set up.

"Chris!" I turned to face him. "When did you do this?"

"Alexis helped me set it up. When we went upstairs she came back down a lit the candles." It was amazing. "You like it?" I more then liked it. "I love it. Thank you." I kissed him. We ate and talked then we cleaned it up and went inside upstairs for bed.
