The past six months have been fun for me. I've hung out with my girlfriend, my friends, and my family almost everyday. We have dinner at least once a week and we've been working on cleaning up the city. Soon, I am going on a trip with my family. Tera convinced my dad to let her come with us. Luckily, my dad likes her so he said yes with no hesitation. Before we go travel around all the Air Temples, we are headed to the South Pole for the Glacier Spirits Festival.

Asami is getting her company back on her feet, Mako become a cop, Bolin is still pro-bending, and Korra was working on mastering the Avatar state. Me and Tera have been training with each other. She wanted to learn some airbending tactics and I wanted someone to spend time with. I especially wanted to be with her. She told me she loved me 2 months ago. I said it back. Now we are in love and stronger than ever. Any romantic feeling I had for Korra aren't there. Tera is the one for me.

Anyways, the council was disbanded. Now we have a president. I don't know much about him, nor do I care. I just know I don't have to uphold a reputation anymore. Me and Tera go out on dates and hold hands and kiss in public. We ignore the comments and the stares knowing that none of that matters in the long run.

Today we are going to the South Pole for the festival. So Tera and I are packing our bags. Oh, me and her live together at the temple by the way. I am 18 so, I thought why not. Anyways, we pack our bags and head to the dock and board the boat. We get into a room and cuddle on the couch. Cuddling slowly turns into making out, and I think everyone knows what making out turns into with two consenting adults. Tera reaches under my shirt like she always does. Not going any further without my consent. Right after I said yes, she takes off my shirt. Then the door slams open. Tera quickly puts my shirt back on and we look up at Korra.

"Hi, Korra." Tera groans. Me and Korra worked on our friendship. Now we are closer than ever. Since no unrequited feelings are in the way.

"What's up?"

"Mako! He is constantly not taking my side on anything!"

"What is it this time?" Tera asks.

"We were talking about how controlling Tenzin is, no offense."

"None taken." I say.

"And he is saying that Tenzin just wants what's best for me. Can you believe that?"

"Oh my spirits, no. That's crazy. Can you leave now?" Tera says. Korra looks hurt. "We were about to, you know?"

Korra's hurt expression goes away and goes bright red. "I should-"

"Yeah." Tera says.

"Um, I'll lock the door on my way out." Korra backs out of the room and locks the door before she leaves.

"So, shall we continue?" I sigh. "I'll take that as a no."

"I'm sorry its just-"

"It's okay, my love. No worries. We'll have very large temples to ourselves soon enough. I'll go talk to Korra. You go to Mako."

"You're perfect." I give her a quick kiss before standing up. "I love you, Tera."

"I love you, Jinpa."

I walk out of the room to find Mako. I find him sitting on the floor. "Hey, Mako."

"How do you deal with Korra when she gets like that?"

"Wow okay. We're just getting right into it. Uh, okay. What do you mean when she gets like that?"

"When she just freaks out." I take a seat next to him. "I can't even have a conversation with my own girlfriend. How do you and Tera do it?"
