They're going to notice.

They won't like you.

You're not a real one.

Fucking fake.

I was getting ready for a meeting Ryan had set up with his friends. I've been putting off meeting them for so long, but he sorted out a date without asking me this time, so there was no way I could decline. He always just thought I was busy and couldn't go so he decided to look at my schedule and do it on a day I'm free. I love him and hate him for doing it.

I haven't left the bathroom for over an hour.

I didn't want to make a big deal out of this, but I couldn't bring myself to open the door. Unfortunately, Ryan did it for me.

"He Jord, you ready?" He asked as he leant against the doorframe.

"I guess so." I hesitated as I walked towards him.

"Perfect. I'm so happy you finally agreed to do this." He grinned as he kissed my lips and walked in front of me.

Great, now I feel even more guilty.

We got in the car and drove to the house we were meeting his friends at. The closer we got, the harder my heart would beat against my rib cage.

You're not fucking real.

You'll never be real.

They won't accept you.

He'll break up with you if they hate you.

I got so engrossed into my thoughts that I didn't even realise we had pulled up outside the house. I also didn't notice my eyes had glossed over and were threatening to spill.

"You ready to- woah, hey. Jordan, what's wrong baby?" He asked as he turned to face me in the car.

"I- uhm. I, well, do you uhm- do you think they'll know?" I asked him, struggling to form the thoughts in my head into words.

"Know what baby? What's got you so panicked?" He asked, grabbing onto my hands to comfort me.

"Do you think they'll notice I'm not a real boy?" I asked, calming myself slightly and biting at the skin on my cheek.

"What do you mean? Of course you're a real boy. You're my boyfriend, you have been for eight months." He said back to me.

"Not really. Other than my hair and my voice, I'm still all girl." I argued back as I pointed to my body.

"But you're not though, are you? You've had your top surgery, and your bottom surgery is in a months time. But it doesn't matter what your body looks like, what matters is who you are. You are my boyfriend, and that's all they know. They don't need to know anything else because there is nothing else. You are my man, you are a man. You were a man trapped in a woman's body, and now you're a man in a mans body. Okay?" He asked as he held my hands up to his mouth, and peppered light kisses on my knuckles.

"But what about Allie?"

"Who's Allie? As far as I'm concerned your name is Jordan. Your personality is Jordan. You are Jordan. Allie is dead. Allie hasn't been around since Jordan came out eight months ago, like I said. What's made all of this come out again?" He asked, knowing that something had caused me to refer to myself as Allie.

"My mum called the other day, she called me Allie, and kept saying how I'm her daughter and I'm my brothers big sister. She also called me fake and said that I deserve for you to leave me." I mumbled as I put my head down.

"But you're not Allie Price. You're Jordan Price. You're my boyfriend and always will be. Your little brother has a big brother, and your mother has a son. Your dad would be so proud of how far you've come. So put those thoughts of Allie fucking Price away, because she does not exist, and show them who the fuck Jordan Price is." He said as he got out for the car.

I laughed slightly at his aggressiveness with the caring words and wiped the few tears that fell. I got out of the car and walked up to him. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and kissed me quickly before walking up to the door.

This is why I love Bryan Samuels.
