So, Asahi in real life and Asahi in the messages are completely different. 

In the texts he was caring, sweet and always available. But in real life, he seemed so cool, independent and unmatchable. He always seemed to be one step ahead, unreachable. A mystery. Minju realized she liked Asahi in the text more than Asahi in real life, somehow. Maybe because she didn't talk to him irl enough. But for the past few weeks texting him, Minju found herself more comfortable with Asahi. And as he said, never judge a book by its cover.

She noticed the little things he did during soccer practices.

Like when he pointed out the undone shoelaces for Junghwan, and when he rushed over to Jaehyuk when he fell down. Of course he still teased and fooled around with Jeongwoo and Haruto a lot, which earned him some revenge action from Jeongwoo who would chase him around and pick him up like a piece of paper. He was so tiny and cute >.< It only stopped when captain Jihoon came over, as Asahi yelled his name desperately. 

She once talked to Mashiho about Asahi, but he just calmly shook his head and smiled gently at her, warning her not to get close. 

- Save your energy Minju, he's not into romance.

Junkyu laughed hearing that and sweetly hit Mashiho on his arm for trying to bring Minju down. 

But that only made her more determined. 

- I know that look Minju, I have nothing to say but good luck. - Yedam laughed pointing at Minju's face. She glared at him with a smile.

- You didn't even give me his number when I asked rememberrrr - She said.

- Haha, I was just saving you from the imminent embarrassment. But now, you gotta follow through.

So one night, Minju texted Asahi.

Minju: - oppa... are you free on Sunday morning?

Asahi: - yes~ Why?

Minju: - u know how i talked to you a lot in message and watched u played soccer a lot... but i never get to really know you irl?

Asahi: - i guess so...

After a long pause, he continued.

Asahi: - tbh i really enjoy your messages. I would like to get to know you more irl too.

He was always full of surprise. Minju didn't think Asahi would feel comfortable enough with her to tell her how he felt. Her heart skipped a beat for the nth times for Asahi.

Minju: - so... Sunday morning?

Asahi: - sure, ice cream shop?

Minju: - i do ❤️

- um.

- i mean- okay!! sfjskflsj

Asahi: - hahahah see you~

Sunday morning. It was a bit chilly and windy. Minju got to the ice cream shop but got caught in the rain for a bit. She was there half an hour early because of excitement. She took cover underneath the small patio of the ice cream shop. Asahi hadn't come yet. She stood there alone, looked at the phone and started to text him. It was cold that day, the beginning of winter. She was wearing a hoodie with the hood covering her head. She was shivering a bit. She looked at her phone and looked for Asahi. Suddenly someone covered her eyes from behind with his hands.

-I'm here~

"O- oppa?"

She removed his hands and turned around, smiling brightly at the sweet gesture.

However, Minju was wide-eyed.

- You-...

- Minju? Why are you here?

Doyoung was just as shocked as Minju. His smile turned into a jaw drop. They both furrowed their brows in confusion.
