- Doyoung, what are you doing here? - Minju was appalled.

- I have a date here. Why are you here?? - Doyoung was just as shocked.

- I was supposed to meet Asahi oppa here!

Doyoung couldn't say anything. Minju quickly took out her phone and called Asahi's number.
But Doyoung's phone rang. He took it out and looked at her. They looked at each other in confusion.
-what the? -Minju breathed
-you... have been texting me?
-what- no NONONO!!! AAAAAA- I'VE BEEN TEXTING YOU THIS WHOLE TIME?
Minju held her head in frustration. Doyoung furrowed his brows.
- why...
Minju, with a hand still on her forehead trying to calm down, replied with a huge sigh:
- sorry Doyoung, i thought I was texting Asahi this whole time.
- what??? REALLY????
- but he GAVE ME THIS NUMBER???
- I KNOW! I was there remember?
- but- that grape ice cream??? I GAVE IT TO ASAHI!!!!
- oh right, Asahi gave me an ice cream saying that a girl wanted to give it to me?
- huh....

They just confusedly stared at each other. It was awkward.
- Asahi set me up with you?
Doyoung scoffed.
- I can't. I just can't
Minju sighed.
- well.. what now? - She finally said.
Doyoung must have noticed Minju's disappointment on her face. He smiled to try to lift up the mood:
- We can go home, orrrrr i'll treat you ice cream and tell you alllll about Asahi hyung.
Minju sighed and smirked a bit.
- welp, since you're buying
- what flavour?
- mango. No wait, mint choco!
- one mango and one mint choco please! - Doyoung said to the seller.
- omg i get both??
- no stupid. Mango for me, I like mango.

After that, they stood in front of the ice cream shop to eat and talk about Asahi. Minju asked a lot. Asahi's phone number (correct one), his hobby, his personality, how he got in the soccer team, why he was chosen as the defender when he looked so small, his girlfriend type. Doyoung was able to answer some but not all. But he tried his best to let Minju get to know about Asahi. Like how he liked music, playing piano, he was very introverted but also caring and funny and crazy sometimes, he was a quick witted player and always did his best on the field. But Doyoung didn't know Asahi's type. Because Asahi didn't hang out with girls or mention anyone.
They talked so much. They even walked along the streets near school under Doyoung's umbrella and talked after finishing their ice creams. It stopped raining even though it was still cold and windy at noon. They chatted about other things beside Asahi. Minju was comfortable talking to Doyoung as a friend.
She was shivering because of the cold even though she got her hoodie on.
-You're cold? Want my scarf? - Doyoung stopped talking about Asahi's sweating condition to ask.
-No thanks, go on
But when they reached Doyoung's front door (a pretty impressive one actually), he still took off his scarf and put it around Minju's neck.
-You'll need it. Anyway, I hope things work out with Asahi for you! - And he went in
-Thanks for the talk today! Byeee
Doyoung waved as he closed the door.

His scarf kept Minju warm on her way home. It's a big black scarf. He wore all black that day actually. Minju edited his name in her phone to Doyoung and saved Asahi's true number.

However, she didn't know how to begin texting the real Asahi. Something meaningful- no. Nothing. She felt stuck. All that time texting the wrong number made her mind go blank.

Minju sighed as she threw herself on the bed, feeling empty. And confused. Why did Asahi give her Doyoung's number instead of his?
