Robins POV
I really am having trouble trusting Tati. She seems like she just wants to help everyone, but I think she is having trouble with making decisions. She did defend us when we were fighting the HIVE, but she defended them too. I have this theory that she grew up lost, and never really found out where she was going. I feel like Cyborg trusts her more than any of us, except maybe star. For some reason Tati opens up to Cyborg.
"Robin." Said the quiet voice of Starfire. Why was she at my door so late at night? "May I come in?"
I crossed my room rubbing my eyes and opened up the door.
"Is anything wrong Star?" I asked.
"No." She responded quickly, "well, actually. I just had a bad dream."
"Really?" I said softly, "what about?"
"Slade just keeps coming back." Was all she said.
"He'll never hurt you Star. I'll never let him." I told her assuring my.
"That's very valiant Robin." She looked into my eyes.
"Well, I am a superhero starfire. Valiant is in the description." I chuckled a little.
She laughed very quietly. "Promise, that no matter what, you will never go back to Slade."
"I promise star." I said locking eyes with her.
"Because I can't go through that again." She whispered.
'Now you know why.' Starfire's words from that night at Wayne Enterprises rang in my ears. I have been in love with Star since I met her, and I still wasn't acting on it. I don't know if I was scared, or just stupid. Or maybe I was just protecting her. I had enemies who wanted to take me down. If they knew how I truly felt about her, who knows what they would do.
Starfire's POV
Maybe kissing Robin was a mistake. Maybe I am not the one for him. But if we are not meant, why do I feel the feelings so strongly for him? It is not fair. If he does like me, even the slightest, he needs to show me! Why must he be so complicated?
Robin's POV
I wish I could wrap my arms around her and run my hands through her hair, but she's safer if she doesn't know how I feel.
Raven's POV
It's weird of me to admit this, but Robin needs to get over himself and confess his feelings to Starfire. Star's my sister, and I can see how much she likes him. Beast Boy and Cyborg may not see it, but I can tell even Tati sees the connection. Well, I'm sure she's read their minds at some point. And I can't be the only one that notices Cyborg's excessive staring at Tati. For some reason for a good amount of time now, I've felt like the Titans are being watched. I'm not blaming Tati, but she has gotten a whole new ring of super villains on our backs. I guess me and Tati sort of relate in that way, we both have evil parents, yet we both became heroes. Truly, without the Titans in my life I wouldn't be who I am now. I'd probably be so much worse. I'm sure the world would already be in ruins, honestly. I still can't help but think that I'm considered a freak. Or creepy. I wish it were easier to figure out who you are. I wish I had someone I could go to to help me. No matter what I'm just not like the others. There are things about me that they can never understand.
Beast boy's POV
I can't sleep. I never can anymore. Thoughts of Raven circle my mind. Encompass it. The girl I had once considered myself the least close to, was now the only I could think about. It's funny how things change. I've felt like things haven't been as light hearted as usual. Everyone seems a bit down, and for some reason nobody can cheer anyone else up. Maybe it is because we're growing up, or the years of stopping bad guys are making us more mature than we actually are. Having normal relationships and normal lives just isn't an option.
Cyborg's POV
Nobody has ever made me feel the way Tati does. She's so quiet and frail. She's the opposite of the type I would've gone for when I was still in highschool. She's really been through a lot. Her mom is an evil mastermind and she doesn't even know her dad.
Tati's POV
I'm lost. My place in the world is unclear. Everything sorta just seems out of place. I lost my true family, but I have a new one to look out for now. It's hard to know exactly what to do anymore.
Cyborg's POV
The Titan alarm was wailing and pulled everyone out of their sleep. We all met in the living room area, and scoped out the problem.
"It looks like our good buddy Psych." Tati groaned.
"Well let's go!" Robin said and we all headed out the door.
When we got to the scene Psych had pulled the roof off of a building and smashed tons of cars.
