Aftermath

Beast Boy's POV
"Please, I'm begging you Rae, be fine." I muttered as I reached her. She was deadly still.
"Raven. Raven you need to get up." Tears filled my eyes. I could ignore all of my pain in this moment. What mattered was Raven.
The others came in the door, each of them going completely silent, not breathing, and not moving.
"Raven." I clutched her hand, pulling her into my lap.
Cyborg was the first to move. "Well come on! We don't have time to waste!" He was getting a hospital bed ready, with fluids and IV drip. "Beast Boy, does she have a pulse?"
I put my finger at her neck. I didn't feel anything. "N-no. And she's not breathing."
"Robin!" Cyborg ordered "Bring Raven to this table now! Tati, I need you to get the defibrillator ready, now!"
"On it!" Tati charged up the defibrillator as Robin took a limo Raven out of my arms.
"Starfire!" Cyborg commanded, "Get BeastBoy onto the other bed, and hook up the IV."
"Alright." Star fire nodded.
Now that the excitement was wearing down, my body was screaming in pain. It was like fire, through all my bones and muscles. Next to me, out of the corner of my eye, I could see cyborg place the defibrillator to Raven's chest.
"Come on rae!" Cyborg muttered. "Amp it up Tati!"
Tati listened, and Cybord tried again. "Come on!"
Raven was still motionless.
"Tati, turn it all the way up!" He ordered.
Tati nodded and did so. "Please Raven!" Cyborg pressed it into her chest, and this time, a gasping breath followed, and a heartbeat was on the monitor.
"Thank god." Cyborg let out a relieved sigh while Tati put away the defibrillator.
"Both of them are stable for now." Cyborg said to Robin.
Robin's POV
"Hey Star." I sat on top of the roof next to her.
"Robin." She acknowledged.
"You alright? You seem a bit shaken up." I asked, putting a hand on her shoulder.
Star fire looked up, light tears in her eyes. "I thought we lost Raven."
"She's stable. You were in there." I said, trying to be comforting.
"It showed me how... destructible we are. We think we're immortal but...we can be destroyed." Starfire sighed.
"We always pull through." I smiled lightly.
"We do not even know what happened in there Robin!" Star suddenly got angry. She was never angry. "We don't even know what was in there! They were there and then they just disappeared!"
"We'll figure it out." I assured.
"We don't know where to begin? How do we know this won't happen tonight?" Star ruffled her hair anxiously.
