"Wait, so you're telling me you had the best sex of your life last night and then called your driver before he woke up?" Gabbie laughed, sitting on the floor of the dance studio with me. We had decided to call in Chinese.

I hummed my yes, pinching my noodles in between chopsticks.

"Why?" She exclaimed, taking a bite of greased chicken glory.

"It's not safe for him. You know that," I told her taking a drink of water.

Gabbie shrugged. "It's been fine for me, I haven't been touched and I've known for years."

I nearly choked. "Are you telling me to consider revealing to Luke, whom I've only known for a month, a secret that can potentially kill him? Are you absurde?"

"I mean, he's seems like a determined guy."

I rolled my eyes. "No one's that determined."

Gabbie sighed and shrugged, setting down her lunch.

"So, are you flying to Scotland next month?" She asked.

I shrugged. "Not sure yet."

"You should go."

"I know," I admitted.

"But do you?" She asked.

I glared at her. "They just want me there for the public. Not to mention, that is the weekend before Harry's peculiar invitation to the Opera House."

"What was that all about?" Gabbie asked, wiping her mouth.

I sighed. "I wish I knew. I do not want to go but what choice do I have in the matter?"

We broke out in silence, neither knowing the right words to say.

Lunch ended quickly, I stood up and gave Gabbie a goodbye at the door.

"When is Ann coming back?" She asked.

I sighed. "Tomorrow or the day after I believe."

She smiled. "Good, you need the time off. Also, that dance looks great. How long until the audition?"

"Two and half months."

Her eyes widened. "Wow, quick."

I nodded. "Yes, it is."

She stepped forward, hugging me tightly. "You're going to do great. You're amazing."

I smiled brightly. "Thank you, love."

She laughed and poked my stomach. "Sometimes I forget you were raised in Scotland."

I rolled my eyes at her. "Sometimes I would like to admit."

Her dark eyes softened. "I know. Okay, I really have to go now. Grandma is making dinner tonight. She has 'news' for me, she doesn't know that I know mom and dad are moving from Cali to be closer to me."

I scoffed. "You have known for ages."

She nodded and with a smirk and hugged me tightly again before waving and rushing out the door. I sat back down on the floor, my noodles only half eaten. Closing the box, I went to the back and placed them into the refrigerator.

I heard the chime of the door opening. Coming around the corner, I saw Ann rushing in.

"You see that?" She asked, smiling. "It rained dogs at my house and just stopped."

Glancing out myself, I nodded. "It rained earlier. But the weather calls for sun for the rest of the day."

"Yeah, it's weird. We always get rain around this time and it just stops. The surfers don't complain. Brings in good ripes, which speaking of, I may have told my son about you and he'd really like to meet you," she said with apologetic eyes. I forgot she had a son to begin with.
