017. Runaway, Together

"My knees hurt." Jeongyeon mumbled with a hint of exhaustion filling her voice. I was right behind her, panting and also exhausted.

Who knows that trail would be another den of hell? Jeongyeon was right, this things are wasting us so much time. For heaven's sake we were finding the flags for almost an hour. We thought it was just on the surface, but unluckily, they were buried in the ground.

We just need to finish the last station, before the stars and moon will take over the vast. It's already four, and I'm fighting my thirst in this tropical area. We were somewhat trap in a deserted island, following the map to take an escape. Damn, I thought I couldn't hold my patience this long.

"Mina, Wonwoo, aren't you tired?" Jeongyeon keeped talking while we continued strolling around the place.

"Yah! Are you dumb? They didn't even work with us?" Jeonghan hissed who's also walking behind us, beside Seungcheol. Sana and Jun were silent on the side, while Mina and Wonwoo leading the way.

"Sometimes, I wanted to get lost in this place." Wonwoo threatened which made the latter shut up. He heaved a sigh before halting. We all look at them with confusion.

"And we're really lost." Mina murmured with a sarcastic tone of voice. My eyes widen in shock. Come on, they gotta be kidding us. I stood beside Mina while she's concentrating at the given map.

I heard the others' caught by surprise. They all sighed heavily, their shoulders slump upon exhaustion.

"They gave us the wrong map." Wonwoo stated while reviewing the map on Mina's hand. He looked around the place, matching every single location written in the map. "If you look around, there's three pathways, going north, east and west. But according to the map, there will be a tree ahead us rather than a pathway we're facing right now."

All I heard was multiple sigh before everybody sat on the ground. They all look so tired with sweats dripping off from their faces. I crossed my arms out of frustation, glaring at the empty space. A great silence fell on the air, no thoughts just regretting all decisions we made this day.

"I told you, we should've just run away from here. You guys have the power if we ever get caught, nevertheless." Jeongyeon started blubbering while leaning on Sana's shoulder, she's basically the third wheel since Sana was leaning on Jun's shoulder as well.

"Even though we have the power you say, trouble is not a daily routine for us." Jeonghan retorted while leaning his back against the tree. Jeongyeon mimicked his words with a ludicrous expression.

"What if we just run away?" I questioned to myself, but they heard it nonetheless. They shifted their gazes on me. As expected, Jeongyeon looked happy and excited. She really wants trouble, but oh well, there's no fun stuck in here.

"We all agree, I guess." Seungcheol smiled while both of his hands slid inside his pocket. He stood beside me, so I immediately step away with a displeased look shot through him.
