"Damn, I can't call him dear." Nayeon complained while looking at the script, facing Seungcheol.
They decided to practice at the garden of Seungcheol's house. Nayeon and Seungcheol stood at the front, starting to practice with their script while the rest were sitting at the grass, watching them.
Mina sighed for the nth time. The two of them has been practicing for almost an hour and they cannot just get serious with their first scene.
"Don't you want to graduate?" Jeonghan asked sarcastically, almost yawning at the sight of the two. Let's just say that the sight of the two is not of his likes.
"Take this seriously, guys. This is our project for us to graduate." Jeongyeon added. She and Jeonghan were seated beside each other.
Nayeon rolled her eyes before looking back at Seungcheol. He was just staring at her, shaking his head. It wasn't a big deal for him, besides he's doing this for his grades. Nayeon just hate him that much, that's why she's so against the idea of him partnered with her.
"Okay. Okay! Now, take nineteen!" Jun was the one holding the clapper, before Nayeon and Seungcheol started with their script again.
Seungcheol heave a deep breath, before looking back at the script and at Nayeon. He's nervous for an unknown reason, maybe because this situation is new for him.
They started off the script smoothly, acting like how they are in the script.
"What do you wanna do next? Hit me? I presume it will be no use, baby." Seungcheol glanced at Nayeon while muttering those words. When she looked back, he immediately shifted gazes.
"You're lucky I am in a good mood. Or else I'll punish you." He added what was written on the script, diverting his gaze back to her.
"Punish me already, like I am afraid of you, dear." Nayeon mumble with a little smirk, suppressing her urge to cringe at those words.
"Great! That's good." Mina clapped her hands. "Let's take a break for now."
Nayeon immediately turn her back on Seungcheol. She's getting goosebumps with the words in the script. She has been silent all the time and the fact that she dislikes Seungcheol, just spiced everything up.
"Hey, Nayeon." He called out. She stop upon her tracks and look over her shoulder.
"What?"
Seungcheol was about to say something when his phone rang. Nayeon stayed at her place, eventually eavesdropping for whoever is calling him.
"Good afternoon, love. Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm on a group practice now. I'll call you later. Bye, I love you."
Her heart seemed to sank upon hearing those words. She doesn't have any clue as to why she suddenly feel like that.
When he ended the call, Seungcheol walk beside her and smiled.
"Can you not hate me this much?" He bended slightly just to even their heights. She was taken aback for his sudden behavior, but she still kept her cool.
