Chapter Sixteen

I wake with a huge gasp. I quickly grab my phone. "Liam, we need to meet now!" I saw with urgency.
"Ok I'll come get you."

I start getting ready.Throw my jeans and sweater on.Trying to process everything I saw. Everything I experienced. There's so much we have to fix and correct. I know why I'm here now. It's like everything just clicked. I feel something in my back pocket. I reach back into it and pull out the sapphire necklace that I found in the box from my mothers room. I remember putting it back. I clasp it around my neck so I don't lose it.I anticipate Liam's arrival constantly looking out the window. He finally arrives and I run out of the door. I quickly get into Liam's car and slam the door. He instantly wants to know everything.

"Liam I need to you drive us to our place."
"Okay but will you tell me what's going on."
"Yes when we get there."
"Dahlia, you can't keep me in suspense. What is it?" 

"Okay.She didn't kill herself." 

"Well... then what?"

"I'll explain everything when we get there."
He's not happy with my response. But we need to be there in order for me to tell him and explain everything. I can see him wondering off into space. Thinking of all the possibilities. We arrive to the lake.

"Well go on tell me." Liam insists. "No, I'm going to show you."

I lay my lips on his and transcend him to the night of Elizabeth and Conner's blood pact.

"What is going on? It's night now?" 

"Liam calm down." I ask.
"What did you do?? Where are we?"

"I'm showing you! Relax. Trust me." I ask him looking deep into his eyes. 

"Hello Loves! And good job Lillian that root worked better than I thought. Full potential unlocked!" Midge says.

"I'm loosing my mind!" Liam says scared pacing back and fourth.

"You're not love she's just more powerful than ya. Don't worry you'll get there."

Midge stand before us but not the young up kept Midge. This is Midge back when Conor and Elizabeth were alive. She is aged with peppered hair and winkles.

"I'm loosing my mind!" Liam says scared pacing back and fourth.

"Midge you're..."

"I swear Liam if you say old I smack ya back to where ya came from." She threatens.

"I....I can't believe this." He says with astonishment."This isn't just pictures! I'm actually in the past. But how?"

"Do ya need a minute? Or can we get this show on the road?" Midge asks. "We might need a minute Midge." I ask her sweetly.
"No problem love."
"Liam I get this is weird and it's going to take your mind a minute to adjust. This is why we needed to be here." I place my hands on his shoulders as an attempt to calm him down.
"Okay. Just..." He takes a deep breath. "I'm good."
"Okay Midge." I signal her back.
"Right then. Blood oath." She says gathering a stone in her hands. " I need both your hands."
I look at Liam signaling to him that it's going to be ok. We both present our hands to Midge. She takes a dagger out from her waste band. And makes a cut down the palm of our hands. Liam cringes at the pain.

"Ouch that actually hurt!"

"That's because it's real. Now hush you big baby and place your palms on this stone." Midge demands.
We do as she says letting our blood cover the sides on the stone. Holding it between both our palms. Midge places both her hands over ours.
"Let these souls be interwoven through space, time, and destiny. Let them never part and be fortunous for eons."
