That night, Launchpad was dressed in his nicest pilot's jacket, an olive green shirt without any stains, white pants, black shoes and an orange tie.
He knocks on the door.
Mrs. Beakly answers it.
"Oh hello, Launchpad. Come in." She said.
He walked in.
"Leela, Launchpad is here." She called out.
Leela walked down the stairs.

Launchpad smiled at her.
"Hi. Wow, you look very pretty." He said.
"Thanks. You look very nice too." She said.
"Milady, our chariot awaits." He said, putting out his arm.
She took his arm and followed him outside to the car.
He opened the door for her.
She got in.
He closed it and went to the drivers side.
He drove the two of them to the drive in theater.
"So, what movie do you wanna see?" Launchpad looked to Leela.
"I'd very much like to see the new Darkwing Duck film." She said.
"Your a fan of Darkwing Duck?! Me too!" He exclaimed.
"Oh that's so great! I've been a fan ever since I was little. I even got an autograph poster from Jim Starling when I was 8. He wrote, To the prettiest little lady, Leela. With love, Jim Starling." She said.
"Awww cool. I kept wanting to get an autograph from him but I kept fainting every time I see him." He said.
"Well, you still get to meet him in person." She said.
They drove into the theater and got a space up front.
"Well, I can go get our food." Leela said, taking her purse.
"Ah ah ah. Allow me, milady." Launchpad said, placing his hand over hers.
"Well, if you insist. Surprise me please." She said.
"You got it." He rushes to the concessions and gets their food.
He ran back.
"I got two burgers, two french fries, and two cherry colas." Launchpad said.
"What did you get for me?" They both laughed.
Launchpad handed her her food.
The movie started.
As the movie went on, Launchpad yawned, stretched his arms, wrapping one around Leela.
She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder.
Later, the movie ended.
Launchpad looked at Leela.
"Man that was epic." He said.
"It was indeed." She said.
Launchpad drove her back home.
"I had a wonderful time, Launchpad. I really hope to spend more time together." She said.
"Aw shucks. I'd love that too." He said, blushing.
She gave him a kiss on the cheek and stepped out of the car.
"Good night." She said.
"Night good." He said, still thinking about the kiss.
