Preparing for a Concert

After New Years, Scrooge was making arrangements for a concert he was investing in and helping with.

They were just missing one more performer.

Then, Scrooge got an idea.

He went to Leela's room and knocked on the door.

She opened it. 

"Oh hello, sir." She said.

"Hello, Leela. Listen, I am assisting with a concert I have invested in and we are short on an opening act, an intermission act, and a closing act. I was wondering if you would like to perform all three?" He offered.

"I'd be happy to." She said.

"Excellent. Just choose three songs to perform. One to open the show. One for intermission. One for the finale." He said.

"Yes, sir." She said.

He walked back to his office to make the call.

She closed the door to her room and tried to figure out what songs to sing.

Launchpad came into her room to congratulate her, but he saw she was having a bit of a panic attack.

"Whoa, what's the matter, beautiful?" He asked.

"Oh hi, Launchpad. Scrooge asked me to perform in a concert next Saturday and I don't know what to sing." She said.

"Well, maybe I can help. How about you sing a bunch of song for me and I'll help you choose the ones to perform?" He asked.

"Well, I guess so. Alright." She nodded.

So, she sang like 20 songs that she thought would be good for the concert.

Launchpad didn't mind how many there were.

He loved hearing each and every one of them, especially when it was her singing them.

So, he looked through the list and talked about it with her, until they finally came to a decision.
