A couple months later, Valentine's Day came along.
Launchpad was planning something extra special for Leela.
He arranged so much.
To start, he left a red envelope with her name on it.
She picked it up, removed the gold heart shaped sticker from the seal, took out the letter and read it.
"Meet me tonight at the Grand Ballroom at 7pm. I'll be counting the moments until I will get to see your beautiful face."
She smiled at the card and ran up to her room to get ready.
She took a bath, put on a beautiful red dress, along with her jewelry and make up, and put her hair up.
She looked in the mirror.
She grabbed her clutch and walked down the stairs, seeing the kids playing.
They looked up at her.
"Whoa." Huey said.
"Hummina hummina." Dewey said.
Louie wolf whistled.
"Wow. You look so pretty!" Webby said.
Scrooge walked in.
"Well, Leela, you certainly are making Launchpad the luckiest man in the world." He said, smiling.
"Thank you all." She said, putting on her coat.
"Well, Happy Valentines Day, everyone. I left you all some heart shaped cookies in the kitchen." She said.
"Awww we love you!" Dewey said, running into the kitchen, along with the others.
She smiled and went to the Grand Ballroom.
She went inside.
Everything was decorated in red, roses and hearts.
Suddenly, everything went dark.
"Whoa what happened?" She asked.
It was two hands covering her eyes.
"Hello, milady." A familiar voice said.
She smiled and turned around, facing Launchpad, dressed in a white suit, holding a bouquet of red roses.
"Wow. You're beautiful." He said, admiring his girlfriend.
"So are you." She said, smiling.
"May I have this dance, milady?" He asked, putting out his arm.
"I'd be delighted." She said, taking his arm.
He lead her to the dance floor.
They began to dance.
I wish I knew what movie this dance came from.
They danced and danced for hours.
After that, they grabbed their coats and Launchpad took her to the next surprise.
He whistled and a small horse drawn carriage came up.
"Allow me, my princess." Launchpad took her hand and helped her onto the carriage.
He climbed on and they went for a ride.
He wrapped his arm around her and held her close.
She rested her head on his shoulder.
"Launchpad, how much more did you plan?" She asked.
"One last thing and we are on our way there now." He said.
"I can't wait." She said.
After about 10 or 15 minutes, they arrive in the park.
Launchpad helped her off the carriage and lead her to their next place.
It was a gazebo, covered in roses and twinkling lights.
Inside was a small table with a card.
Leela picked it up and opened it.
It said, "Marry me."
She turned around to see Launchpad on one knee, holding a ring.
"Launchpad?" She gasped.
"Leela, I love you. I may not be rich, or smart, and I'm really clumsy, but I know one thing. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" He asked.
She teared up.
"Launchpad, I would be honored to be your wife. Of course I'll marry you!" She said.
He placed the ring on her finger, picked her up and spun her around, kissing her.
