I could not believe it, my mum thinks I am one of those- bad girls. We might have to move back because of me but my father does not know.
It was 10pm and I got out of bed and crept into the kitchen, my mum was there, sobbing.
"Mum!" I said, "What happened?"
"All my life I raised you guys and now look where you have ended up," she sobbed and carried on "I gave you too much. I'm such a bad mother!"
I was so angry but also my throat clogged up like I was guilty. But I hadn't done anything wrong,
"No mum, do you really think I'm like that? Would you really think that? Mum tell me!"
She slightly nodded her head and she asked,
"I trust you very much, please explain why you did what you did?"
I told her everything, I finished off with,
"That is why Ihsaan came, so that my time wasn't wasted. Otherwise, I treat him like my brother. His sister is very nice, I think you should meet their family. It was nothing of that sort..."
My mum was relieved,
"I'm so sorry Inaayah for thinking so bad. Sorry dear."
"It's ok. Lets go to sleep."
Morning came, it was my interview today. Me in 1st year college and my sisters in 2nd year.
"Salam sister's!" I yelled.
"Salam, you ready?" asked Ikra.
"Yup, lets go!" I said. I was wearing a long black skirt with a black top and grey short blazer. I wore a grey scarf and black heels. I have to say, I looked very smart ") He-he. I said bye to everyone and went off with my sisters.
Moments later, we were called in, one by one. I was called first...
The master looked scary but started off in a friendly manner,
"Hello there Inaayah, please take a seat."
"Hello master." I replied.
"Ok Inaayah, tell me. Why do you think we should accept you here at St. George college?"
I started to shiver. Then I started off with my qualities,
"Well, I have many qualities that will surprise you. I have a very good attendance and punctuality, this will make your college not loose out on attendance records. Also I have passed ALL my GCSE's and I haven't got anything below B."
"Wow, that is a great achievment. Can I have a look at your past certificates, if you have tthem with you?" he asked. I opened up my file and found my certificates,
"Here." I said and proudly gave 4 chunky plly pockets of them.
"Great!" He said and got up and he shook my hand. "A letter will be sent home to tell you if I accept or not."
I nodded and thanked him and went out with a smile on my face...
