Morning came, it was time to go college. I decided to wear some blue skinny jeans, which weren't tight so my figure wasn't shown, and a long black dress that had small diamonds on the sleeves. I wore my black uggs and a black shiny hijab. I quickly put on a bit of make-up and was ready to go.
"Salam mum!"
"Walaikum asalam dear, eat your breakfast and your dad will drop you off to college. Have you got your bag?" She asked, I completely forgot,
"Oh, I'll get it from my room."
My bag was a dark purple side bag. It had buckles on the front. It was the perfect size for me. I gobbled up my breakfast and sat in my dads car, ready to go.
The college was huge. Everything was made from glass. I couldn't believe how many white people there were! I got out of my car and a bunch of girls giggled at me. I gave them an evil look and walked to Inayah, my sisters followed.
"Hi Inaayah!!"
"Hello Inayah," I giggled.
"The college is amazing right? Oh meet Inaayah everyone, she is my sister."
She called me sister? Maybe she meant the islamical way... She introduced her friends to me. She seemed very popular, she had 5 friends around her, Tania, Sarah, Rebecca, Georgia and Ashley.
"Hi," I answered. Inayah also wore scarf and we were wearing similar jeans. The bell went and I was lead to a class, my class. Inayah was there! I could choose where I wanted to sit, I sat next to Inayah.
The lesson began, I took english language and it was interesting. Each time I put my hand up the white teacher ignored me. We then had to work in groups and me, Inayah and another 2 girls were in a group. We felt left out as the 2 girls completely ignored us. I heard them mumble,
"Urghh, why did sir put us in their group? They try to fit in with us but they can't."
"Yeah..." Said the other girl. Inayah spoke up, she was tough,
"Listen yeah, you think your all it with that pumpkin colour hair of yours but at this minute you look like a clown. Why didn't you just take drama instead? I'm sure you will enter some sort of comedian show." She added, "And if your gonna say something, why not say it to my face?"
The girl got up and shot her fist at Inayah. I gasped. I used to go boxing in Makkah and so I used my skills today, thats when I got sent home.
"Think your all tough Inayah? Say more. These muslims are taking over our country thinking they're all badmans."
That was when I got up, everyone stared at me,
"Go on then, terrorist." Said the girl. My fist went straight for her nose and I punched her again on her tooth. Her nose was bleeding and her tooth fell out.
"STOP IT LADIES! HAZEL YOUR EXCLUDED FOR BEING RACIST AND INAAYAH, NEW GIRL, YOU CAN GO HOME. I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS BEHAVIOUR!" Shouted sir.
I came home and my mum was shocked but she said
"Dear, I know how much you stick up for Islam but control your temper. This time I'm letting you off, next time watch out..."
A little while later, I remembered to tell my mother something.
"Mum, you know the girl Inayah? Well..." I told her about how we both had the same birthdays and how we both had the same name. Then she said something that really surprised me,
"Aah yes, I need to talk to you regarding this, I think it is time..."
