A/N: Well hello there everyone who reads my books and loves them! Ok, now I'm just being stupid. Welcome to chapter 17 of Save Me From My Darkness. If you all read the author's note at the end of chapter 16 then you know this chapter is something I loved writing and hopefully you'll love reading. Enjoy!
Gregory POV
I wake up to my alarm going off. Damn thing. I'm going to kill it. I run my hand over my face and I'm about to get up when soft snoring catches my attention. I look to see Chase still sleeping peacefully on my other arm, his own wrapped around my waist. The sight is enough to make me smile with joy. He just looks so cute! I grab my phone and take a picture of the sleeping Chase, setting it as my background. Now that is a picture I can jack off to. Oh, shut up. If you saw his sleeping face, you'd know what I'm talking about.
Content with the picture, I set my phone back down and shake Chase slightly. He mumbles but doesn't seem to wake up. I really don't want to wake him up. He seems so peaceful but I know I have to since we have school.
"Come on Chase. Time to wake up." I try to say it softly but still with a bit of sternness in my voice and Chase's eyes finally open. I smile at him and run a hand through his hair
"Come on. We have school." I sit up, taking Chase with me but he still doesn't seem awake.
"5 more minutes." He falls back onto the pillow and pulls the covers up to his chin. He's so cute. But he still needs to go to school.
"Sorry Chase but you need to get up." I grab the blankets and pull them, exposing Chase to the cold air. He shivers and turns over, giving me a small glare.
"Do I have to?"
"Yes you have to."
"Fine." Chase sighs and gets off the bed and so do I.
"You can use my bathroom. I'll use the one down the hall." Chase nods and leaves the bedroom before coming back with his clothes. I already have my pair and, giving Chase a kiss on the forehead, I make my way to the bathroom. I set my clothes on the counter next to the sink and turned on the shower before stripping out of my pajamas and boxers. I stepped under the warm water, letting it run over my body and hair. I cleaned all over myself before turning off the shower and shaking the excess water from my hair. After drying off, I get dressed and brushed my teeth and hair before going back to my room. Chase was already fully clothed and was finger combing his still wet hair.
"Time to eat." Chase looked at me and nodded before following me to the kitchen. Food was already set out for us and Stanley was standing next to the table. He bowed when he saw us and pulled out the chairs for both me and Chase. We sat and I ate while Chase stared at his eggs.
"Aren't you going to eat?"
"I'm not all that hungry."
"Come on Chase. You need to at least eat something." Chase sighed and took small bites and was content with that while I wasn't. He really needs to eat more. Not thinking about it anymore, I finished my food and we got into the limo, Chase pulling out his sketchbook and pencil. I haven't seen him draw in it for awhile.
"Chase."
"Yea?"
"Why haven't you been drawing? This is the first time in awhile I've seen you pull it out."
"W-well, I haven't really had a reason to pull it out." Chase flipped to a clean page and began drawing, me watching. I had been watching so intently that I didn't even realize when we arrived at school. Chase put away his book and we got out only to be met by Lucas and... Lisa? Oh no. If she tries anything this time, I don't think I'll be able to simply brush it off. Lisa had her head hanging down and her hands were behind her back like she was a guilty little kid. I looked at Lucas with a raised brow and he just tapped Lisa with his arm. She sighed and looked at me.
"Sorry about... everything."
"Huh?" I was so confused. Lisa sighed again.
"I'm sorry about... always trying to... you know." Ah, so she was apologizing for always trying to seduce me. I nodded and smiled at her.
"Its alright." She let out a breath and smiled back before looking at Chase.
"You must be Chase. I'm Lisa." She smiled at Chase but he only blushed and looked away, leaving Lisa to frown slightly. She looked at me but I only shrugged and smiled. We heard the bell ring and we all made our way to our classrooms. The first two periods went by pretty quickly and it was soon time for lunch. We all sat at one table, Chase staying close to me and away from Lisa and Lucas. I guess he still has issues talking to others. Guess we should work on that later. I pulled out a small lunchbox from my backpack and set it in front of Chase. He looked at it then at me, questions covering his face.
"I asked Stanley to make it for you."
"But-"
"You're not excusing your way out of this one. Now either eat it or I feed you myself." I said it with a smirk that made Chase go quiet and nod, opening the lunch before eating a bit of its contents. But I have to admit, I wouldn't have minded feeding him. Lisa then decided to start a conversation of her own.
"Oh yea. Did you know Nicholas in our class if having a birthday party?" I shook my head and so did Lucas, Lucas answering her question.
"No. When is it?"
"This Friday night. He said everyone is invited."
"Sounds interesting. Of course, Nicholas is known for throwing huge parties." That is true. He is a master at parties. Wait a minute. I just remembered.
"Hey Chase."
"Hm?"
"When is your birthday? You never told me."
"Oh. Tomorrow."
"HUH?! TOMORROW?!" Lucas and Lisa looked between me and Chase, unsure about what was going on. Chase's birthday was tomorrow and I didn't know until now?! Holy crap! Seems I'm going to have to find out some way to celebrate his birthday. And I know just the people who can help me get everything ready. I just have to make sure Chase doesn't find out what I'm planning. This is going to be fun.
A/N: Wow! I got out another chapter! I can't believe how much this book is coming along. Its amazing! Is anyone else amazed by this? Well I know I am. I'm going to try and update sooner and have chapter 18 out sooner than I had this chapter out but I don't think that'll happen. My and my laziness. It should be a crime. Thx 4 reading!
