Heeseung's POV

"I'll see you soon grandma." I smiled holding the old conscious lady's hands and stood straight up to see my girlfriend all ready for the day. She softly smiled at me as I returned it back and walked over to her side. "I'm going to go prepare for her return." I caressed the girl's cheeks feeling lucky to have her in my life as she nodded. Before leaving I swiftly pulled Seohyun in a hug as she hugged me. "I love you." Whispering I patted her fluffy hair as her slow and shy ilyt made my heart flutter.

"See you soon and thank you again."

Seohyun's POV

My stomach was turning up and down due to the nervousness. I didn't know what would possibly happen and I couldn't tell Heeseung anything since he was in a better mood than the last few days. It was all me, Jungwon and Niki is the hospital now. And everyone was preparing for the operation.

As I stood there slightly shaking, a nurse approached me with a paper as she told me to sign on them. "What is it about?" I asked about to read the paper as Niki and Jungwon came closer wanting to read it too. "It says that if the operation doesn't go well, the hospital doesn't hold any responsibility of it." My hands stopped as the young nurse said out the information waiting for me to sign it.

My brain was just blank for a hot minute but I sighed signing on the paper and handed it to the working lady who left. "Are you sure we shouldn't tell hyung about this?" A familiar voice from behind said out as I looked to see Sim Jake along with his friends walk towards us. I had no answer, I didn't know if I was right or not at the moment. The others got distracted by the arrival of the new people as Jake stared at me while I looked down hesitantly.

"I don't know." I said out what I actually felt as the guy sighed patting my shoulder and walking past me.

Jay's POV

The operation had already started as we all silently waited outside the room for it to end. I could feel the tension in everyone's eyes as they all stayed dead quiet without saying anything. And so did I. Looking over at CEO Kim I noticed the girl's pale face. She looked weaker than ever. She looked sick at this point. And I knew why. It'd be weird if she was completely fine.

Heeseung hyung adored his grandma and none of us could imagine what would happen if he lost her.

Jake's POV

It had been quiet a while since the operation had started. I shook my foot while drinking the cup of coffee Sunghoon had brought for me. I know coming here right now would have just pressured Kim Seohyun but I couldn't just stay back and get worried about the lady who I spent a lot of time with my friends and Heeseung hyung. She indeed was very important to our friend group.

The door to the room opened slowly as everyone stood up nervously. The doctor came out taking off his mask as I noticed his hesitant face. He rubbed his hands together clicking his tongue as I felt him disappointedly look down.

No.. just no.

"I'm sorry. It wasn't possible." He said out slowly as I felt a few gasps from around me. Niki fell on the chair as I felt the guys' get emotional. "This isn't true, right?" Sunghoon called me out but I couldn't focus on anything. I looked at his teared up eyes and then at the others. It was all blank and muted for me. But I saw the girl. She was sitting on her chair like she was from the very beginning. Not moving at all. I noticed her shaking hands as she stared at the ground without reacting at all.

Heeseung's POV

I entered the hospital with a bouquet of flowers ready to meet my grandmother again. But the saddened looks I was getting from the staffs of the hospital was making me nervous. What's wrong? I quickly walked to that floor as all I heard were sobs and sniffles. Slowly walking I looked over to see a crying Niki and Jay who was trying to handle the younger boy. Sunghoon and Jake with their pale scared up faces and Jungwon just looking down.

"Hyung.." a crying Niki came up to me hugging me as I saw Seohyun stand up looking at me. Her face was sicker than ever at the moment but I wasn't worried about that at the moment. I pushed Niki away. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?" I asked him but he didn't say anything and just sobbed silently. "What's wrong? What happened?"

"She's no more. The doctors couldn't save her." Jay said out silently as I felt my soul leave my body hearing him. "The fuck are you saying Jay?" I held onto the guy's collar as I saw his red eyes. My heart started aching not wanting to believe what was going on but the guy just nodded. But I needed the girl to tell me the truth now. Pushing Jay away I speed walked to Seohyun.

Seohyun's POV

Heeseung walked towards me and harshly held onto my shoulders as I flinched at the burning pain it was causing. "Tell me the truth Seohyun." His tone was filled with anger and sadness at the moment. I gulped without blinking. I was scared. I was so scared I might lose him now. "Hyung stop-" Jake tried stopping him but the guy didn't listen to him. "Fuck just tell me Kim Seohyun!"

"She's dead!" I said out with all my remaining strength as Heeseung's furious face turned to something I couldn't describe. He was shocked and let go off my shoulders looking around him. My heart broke seeing his blood red eyes. "You said you'd save her.." he said out slowly looking at the ground. "Heeseung.." I tried approaching the guy but it was of no use.

"You lied to me Seohyun!" He shouted crying out in pain as I flinched looking down. "Hyung please calm down." Jungwon tried stopping the older guy but he just pushed my assistant away. "It's all your fault.." my heart dropped hearing what he said. It was what I feared of all along. Of him thinking it was all my fault. "What?" I said out unbelievably as I stared back at his furious eyes. "Hyung please." Niki tried stopping him but it was of no use.

"I couldn't even see her one last time Seohyun and it's because of you." I stayed silent knowing it was somewhat my fault. "It's all because of you Seohyun." He cried out painfully as I looked down not saying anything. Not a single drop of tear fell off my eyes right now. I was emotionlessly looking down.

"Fuck you told me you'd save her! You gave me false hopes. She's dead!"

"I couldn't save her." I said out slowly looking up to see everyone. It broke me apart. Their eyes. All I could see was that they were all blaming me. Was it actually all my fault?

"I couldn't.." Heeseung scoffed wiping his tears away as he quickly walked out of the place causing me to follow him.
