(HOW DO WE FEEL ABOUT 3B THOUGH-) (Also I swear this will become more original very soon, dw)
Hinata watches as the two struggle against their bonds for a moment before turning his attention back to the talking painting.
"Now there's no need to panic," The voice continues, "You can call me Kuwata, I'm the master of this room. Now to explain the rules of the next game. . ."
"Rules?" Nanami mumbles, "What's going on. . ?"
"Of course! I mean, do you really want to put those two's lives on the line without hearing the rules?"
"Wait, huh? Risk our lives?!" Naegi pipes up incredulously.
"Mhm, please feel free to enjoy the life-threatening danger with all of your heart and soul. Anyways, see those giant guns up near the ceiling?"
Up above them all are two large guns with giant barrels, pulsing as if powering up.
"They're going to slowly start firing baseballs. Slowly at first, but it's going to start getting faster and faster and faster. To the point where eventually, physics or something will kill them. . .unless you figure out the one and only way to stop it. . .Anyways, let's get started!"
The brunet tenses as a single baseball lazily shoots out, hitting Maizono in the shoulder. She grunts, wiggling around a little as another shoots out and hits Naegi.
"What should we do?" Ikusaba wonders.
Hinata nods. "We really should discuss that. . .gather around everyone!"
Those in the room still free gather around the brunet as the guns occasionally spit baseballs at the ones cuffed to the wall.
"Hmm. . .I'll look around for anything of interest." Ikusaba offers.
He nods back. "Let's go with this."
She dips her head respectfully before moving away and feeling around the room. "I found this T-ball bat. I'm not exactly sure what we could do with it though. . ."
Naegi lights up. "Perhaps you can use it to hit the balls that come out until the machine comes out."
"It won't run out until after you all exhaust yourselves!" Kuwata the painting chimes in.
Komaeda raises his hand. "I can try destroying the guns with the bat."
Ikusaba wordlessly passes the bat to the buttermilk-haired boy. Komaeda grins down at it like greeting an old friend before going over to the guns, throwing the bat behind his head before brutally attacking the guns. In the end, all he makes are a couple of dents.
"Damn it." He curses.
The baseballs move up to the next speed.
"Kyaa!" Maizono squeals, "It hurts! It's going to leave so many bruises!"
"Calm down, Maizono-san, it's going to be okay!" Naegi attempts to reassure her.
"No! We're gonna die!" She wails.
Ikusaba's eyes crinkle with concern. "It's going to be okay, Maizono-chan!" She promises.
Hinata slowly looks around the room as Nanami steps forward, ready to volunteer her suggestion. "The dusk on top of that crate looks weird. . .perhaps we should investigate it a little closer?"
"Good thinking, Nanami, let's go with that."
The short peach-haired girl makes her way over to the crate, ducking under some flying baseballs. She leans in close, squinting before returning to the group.
