Chapter 30: Ultimate moves part 1

after all eight of us finish sobbing our eyes out on the front lawn of the brand new dorm building, we head inside to rejoin the rest of the group.

they all look very confused as to why all our eyes are red a puffy. 

"alright, I think I'm going to turn in for the night guys." I say feeling my body ache. 

"okay, goodnight!" Uraraka says.

"goodnight Maya" Deku adds

I head upstairs and find my room. once I enter I cringe at my ugly gym of a room. maybe tomorrow I'll go to the store and get some room decor.

as tired as I am, I should probably do my night workout before I go to sleep. 

I complete my routine and go back downstairs to shower. 

I can still hear the rest of the class laughing and talking. I wish I could join them but I shouldn't, all I do is cause them harm and they don't even know it...

I enter the baths and set my shower caddy down on the bench. I take my shower and brush my teeth before heading back up to my dorm to get some much needed rest.

"let me go!" Deku yells, bound to a chair in the villain lair.

"Maybe you should choose better friends if you didn't want to be captured. you are friends with a villain after all" Shigaraki says holding a hand on Deku's face only keeping one finger off.

"w-what? what are you talking about!?" Deku whimpers

"no don't listen to him!" I yell my heart pounding. I try to run after Shigaraki, but I can't move, I can't use my quirk or anything. I'm weak... powerless...

"oh you don't know? Maya here is one of us, or at least she used to be. this is her punishment for leaving us" Shigaraki says lowering the final finger making contact with the green haired boy's face.

"NO!" I let out a blood curdling scream as I watch Deku turn to dust, the look of pure terror and hatred etched on his face as his existence fades away into nothing.

"NO!" I scream sitting up in a pool of my own sweat (ew).

I look around the unfamiliar room filled with workout gear.

"oh yeah" I breathe as it all comes back to me.

"it was just a dream..." I assure myself, still shaken by the image I just saw in my head.

I crawl out of bed and grab one of my clean school uniforms from the closet and change into it. 

then I head downstairs to the bathrooms to brush my teeth. there I meet Tsu and Jiro already brushing their teeth.

"good morning" Jiro says with a mouthful of toothpaste.

"good morning!" I reply back taking my tooth brush out of my shower caddy.

next we go out to the common room to eat breakfast.

we each get our trays and gobble up the eggs and bacon.

once everyone finishes eating, we all leave the heights alliance building to go to the main campus for lessons.

"I believe I mentioned this already, but your main focus this semester is obtaining provisional hero licenses" Mr. Aizawa says holding the podium at the front of the class room and staring intently at the entire class.
