happy birthday Jeremiah

Jeremy and I recently broke up about 2 months ago l mean he's come by and pick up Jeremiah but we never shared an actual conversation

Today is Jeremiah's first birthday and im giving him a little party in my yard as Nyshia and I was setting up Jeremy walked in with some chick

I smiled just happy that he's here .. he walked pasted me with going to sit it on the gift table

"Where Jeremiah?"

"He's in his room playing"I replied

The girl cleared her throat 

He looked back at her "my bad shorty , Uhm Shauntae this my home girl Ebony ,Ebony -Shauntae"

I faked smiled "hi" she spoke back

I walked back over by Nyshia "no he didn't bring her with him "

"Chill I really don't care I know where his heart is"

"Hmm you better than me ,my ass would've fucked around and ruined my kids party before it starts"

I chuckled "he claims that's his friend"

"Tuhh friend alright"

Soon the yard was filled with Kids playing all over the place , Jeremy's mom came and visited and asked if Jeremiah could stay with her and she'll bring him back Sunday after services

"Of course ill pack his things"

I went inside to pack him a few outfits and cuppy

Jeremy-

It was starting to get dark and the party was ending

I seen my mom walking over holding Jeremiah who was now knocked out in her arms , he must've worn himself out from all the playing he did

"Hi baby" she said before hugging me

"Hey mom"

Ebony nudged me

"Mom-Ebony-Ebony-mom"

"Hey baby, you can call me Jasmine"

"Okay then Nice meeting you Jasmine"ebony said

"Jeremy can I talk to you for a moment please?"

"Sure ma"I turned to Ebony "be right back"

I followed my mom to the front where she parked her car ,she laid Jeremiah in his seat then turned back to me

"Jeremy who is that woman back there?"

"Thats just a friend"

"A friend huh? What happened to you and Shauntae?"

"Nothing ma ,we just decided it wasn't working out between us anymore"

She shook her head "Jeremy I know you're lying "

"Ma"

"Don't wanna hear those lies ,now tell me the truth"

"Aight Tae cheated"

"No she wouldn't"she said in disbelief

"She did and it was with Rick ,the reason why we got into a fight"

"But y'all are family and Rick knew about y'all relationship"

"Well from what Tae tells me he didn't know until after the family gathering  at your house "

"And he kept it up"

"I guess but I'm not even tripping it was never gonna work out anyway and besides they never took it passed talking"
