Lunch Date

It's was about 11:00 when Damon's mom called

"Hello"I answered sluggishly

"Uhm what time are you coming to get the twins I have things to do today"

"Oh damn I forgot about them"I giggled & hopped up out the bed

"give me time to shower then I'll be right over "

"Okay don't take forever because I have to go"she replied

"Aight I gotcha"

I took a quick shower threw on my hi-low dress & some sandals & made my way over there I called her to tell her I was on my way to pick up the twins

After about 10 minutes I was in Damon's mom driveway

As soon as I parked to go inside I got a call from Brooke's cellphone

"What's up?"I answered

"Aye yo this Jamal we still on for lunch"

"Uhm sure but I have the twins with me"

"It don't matter they can tag along"

"Okay where my bae"I asked

"Right here"I heard Brooke yell in the back

"Aight where y'all at since I'm already out and about"

"At the Comfort Inn room 106"

"What you doing?"

"On my way to have lunch with Brooke & Jamal"

"Who's Jamal?"

"Brooke's fiancé"

"Yea for to say you're always working you sure have a lot of time to call me all day everyday"

He laughed "I do have a lunch break"

"Nigga you be calling me all day long"

No I don't"he chuckled "oh what you don't wanna talk?"

I laughed "no"

I laughed "no no I'm just playing ,what you been doing down there"

"Working working & more working & bruh come to find out they do have some jobs in town but I want be making as much as I'm making now"

"Well how much are you making?"

"About 1600 to 1900 every. Two weeks it depends on what I'm doing in that time frame"

"Okay do how much are the in town jobs paying?"

"1700 every two weeks"

"That's still good Damon I mean it's still in that range ,your ass need to stop being money hungry & come home"

He laughed "I know Ny'shia but I just can't up & leave I got to try & talk to them & see can I get my job transferred"

By the time I reached Brooke's hotel room Her & Jamal were coming down the stairs

I pulled next to their car

"Okay but Damon let me call you back "

"Aight but I ain't got that long at work I get of at 3:00"
