Brooke & I partied half of the week all the way up until she had to leave to go back upstate with her man

I was sitting beside her on my couch "Jamal"she whined

"My friend wants to meet you"

..

"Okay we'll be there later"

She looked at me

"So what did he say?"I asked

"His people are throwing him a going away party so he wants me to bring you along"

"Okay cool ,well come with me so I can take my babies some clothes"

I drove over to Damon's & took my babies some clothes .....while there his mom was giving me a nasty look

"Why are you looking at me like that?"I asked her

She shrugged "no reason"

I chuckled "I take it you know about Damon & I"

She just looked at me

"Look I'm not being rude or disrespectful but Damon & I are going to be together no matter what happens & you're faulting me for the shit your son put me through ,he was the one who went & fucked up when I was being nothing but faithful to him but that's in our past now & we're moving forward for our kids sake & we are going to be together whether you or anyone else like it"I left her house without saying another word

As soon as I stepped foot into the car Brooke handed me the phone

"Damon's on the phone"

I grabbed it "hey bae"

"Yo what's ma? Whatcha doing"

"Chillan with Brooke "

"Cool cool"

"Yea but bae lemme tell ya ,you know how ya moms be looking at me all crazy right?"

"Yea what happened "

"So I was over there taking to Dj & Ariel some clean clothes right"

"Yea ... Wait why are they there?"

"Because I'm going to Brooke's going away party later but anyway I told her about herself "

"What? What did you say"

"I didn't say anything wrong I just told her she's faulting me for everything you did but that's in out past & they we're going to be together whether she likes it or not"

He chuckled "aye man you can't be snapping on my moms like that yo"

I laughed "well tell ya moms to stop looking at me like that"

He laughed

"You think it's funny?"

"Yes I do"

"Square out then"

"Just wait I get home"

We joked until his lunch break was over

"Okay bae I got to go I'll call you when I get off"

"Okay bye I love you"

"I love you too"he replied before he hung up

A few hours later we were dressed & ready for the going away party

I followed Brooke over to Jamal's parents house
