I woke up with the sound of my alarm. Its 6:30 am, I know I need to get up.

I did my daily routine and at around 7:45 I was inside the car listening to some tunes I downloaded last night in my phone.

I was listening to a Green Day song that I don't even know but I tried so hard to endure it even if it wasn't my thing. I don't really know why I'm doing this.

The car stopped into a halt that made me look outside the window.

We were already parked in front.

I grabbed my bag and went straight out of the car.

I went straight to the lockers and grabbed my maths book. I'm not good at maths but I don't hate it, its kind of a 50-50 for me.

I walked towards the homeroom and waited for our teacher, its still early, the class doesnt start in at least 10 minutes. I sighed and unlocked my phone, its been awhile since I had one and I was never a fan of technology, its weird. It feels weird.

My heart almost burst out of my chest when my phone started vibrating crazily.

Someone was calling and it was from an unknown number.

I didn't know what to do as my phone kept ringing everyone was starting to stare at me awkwardly, they obviously wanted me to answer the goddamn phone and the looks they are giving meis making me uncomfortable.

When I was about to answer it the call stopped.

I received a text instead.

Am I interrupting you in class? -L.H

L.H???

Who is this? I don't even have friends to text me and only Kate knows my number...oh my god she didn't!

I texted back,

By chance is this Mr. Hemmings?

I tapped my nails impatiently on my phone's screen and the annoying sound when you receive a text message popped.

Are you waiting for someone else to text you? :|

I smiled at the thought of him using emoticons in a text message. Like he was only my age. Though, I'm not really sure how old people well, adults text. Anyways, whatever.

No I wasn't but where did you get my number?

I asked the obvious.

Your sister.

I knew it.

Interesting..how did you even got it from her and how did you know I got a new phone?

Everybody stood up to greet our professor a good morning and I almost dropped my phone on the floor.

I always get what I want.

Cocky.

"Miss Beck, can you explain to me what is a y intercept?" My professor called on me. I didnt even noticed that we were starting class, I was too engulfed with reading Mr. Hemmings' text over and over again just to think of something to reply to him.
