Everything had been so still. Both their hearts beating out of their chest, adrenaline pulsating through their veins, rage fueling their minds. This was it. This was their revenge against the man that caused Bakugo all this pain. Yet all they could do was stare. It almost didn't feel real. But it was real. He was real. The danger they were in was real. And they were gonna fight it. In the blink of a human eye, Katsuki used his explosions and launched himself forwards towards the sorcerer. Dabi's face split into a sinister grin and conjured his cursed fire, adding more blue hues to the light of the room. Katsuki predicted that attack and with a flare of his arm, he propelled himself at a ninety-degree angle, successfully dodging the attack. Kirishima blinked. What the hell was he doing? Standing around doing nothing while Katsuki fought. That didn't sit right with him. He willed his scales to cover his arms and ran towards the fray, following Katsuki's golden hair. His sharp teeth grit against each other. All the pent-up rage, the hatred, the anger burst the dam that was Kirishima's psyche. His eyes widened and he ran up to Dabi, joining Katsuki in his pursuit. Dabi raised his arm and blocked Katsuki's initial attack. His Taller, older, and the far more experienced body was moving with smooth, calm, and calculated movements. Kirishima didn't miss a beat. He swiped his scale-hardened hand into a claw. Dabi saw this coming though. His defenses immediately kicked into gear and he pulled up his sleeveless coat into Kirishima's path. His blood ran cold. A dark grey nearly black dragon scale coat. It made him sick but spurred on his rage at the same time. His claw was caught in the coat, hardened scales meeting scales. A series of loud booms sounded and Bakugo was back attacking again. His greatest strength, his speed, and offense, being enhanced by the magic he now wielded. However, his magic also created a new weakness. Every time he used his explosions a loud boom would follow signaling his attack to his enemy. This weakness greatly benefited Dabi and he predicted Katsuki's attacks. Kirishima noted this. If they both overwhelmed Dabi at the same time they could stand a chance. Just as Dabi blocked another of Katsuki's attack Kirishima lurched forwards. His claws latching onto Dabi's scarred flesh, subduing his wrists behind his back. It was a cheap and unmanly move to attack from behind, but Kirishima didn't care. His mind clouded with the mists of rage and his senses dipped in scarring, torturing memories. He hurt Kirishima, he killed his species, he even wore their skin as a coat without much of a care.

He hurt and mentally scarred Katsuki too.

He wasn't just fighting for himself now, he was fighting for the ones who have fallen, for the ones who gazed down at them from their ocean blue night as the stars, he was fighting for the countless amount of people Dabi had hurt that he didn't even know about, he was fighting for Katsuki. So he would let his mind be clouded, let his bloodlust fester. Anything to get justice for the past.

Katsuki saw his opportunity and took it, launching himself again at Dabi while he was subdued. They could end this right here and now.

Kirishima felt a familiar sensation at that moment. One that reminded him just who they were messing with. His hands felt so cold that they burned, his scales barely holding up against the blue flames that engulfed his hands. The blue contrasted against his crimson scales just as they did against the blood of those like him on extinction day. Kirishima immediately recoiled his hands at the burning sensation. This wasn't the warmth he felt from fire, it wasn't the same fire that resinated in his core. This was the cursed flame. A hiss pushed its way past Kirishima's lips as Dabi swung his now free hands forwards towards the airborne attacking Katsuki. Blue flames danced in the reflection of his ruby eyes. Quickly he extended his arm at a ninety degree angle before setting off a explosion from his palm, drastically changing his trajectory. He barely missed a stream of blue aimed at him. His nostrils flared as his body hit the ground. He quickly rolled to his feet in alertness. Kirishima's now normal hands gripped onto his twin blades and started to attack Dabi. The sorcerer smiled his sadistic grin and dodged easily, using his flame covered hands to damage the blades. His blades caught in Dabi's hands now, he to use his raw strength now to overcome the sorcerer. They were pretty evenly matched in that department. Kirishima realized this pretty quickly as Katsuki prepared to swing his blade as well.
