part 7

"Taehyun!!" I scream and dodge behind the couch.
"Gotcha!" Taehyun squirts me with a water gun. I jump up and run behind Soobin.
"Protect me!!" I say.
"I can't! This is every man for himself!" He runs around the couch and into the kitchen, aiming at Yeonjun.
"Im not a man!!" I shout and run beside Beomgyu, the closest shield to me.
"Don't worry Y/n! I'll protect you!" Beomgyu covers me as he sprays Hueningkai with water.
We're at the dorm and they have the day off. It's Sunday night and Yeonjun came up with the brilliant idea to start a water gun fight. And, of course, I am the only one without a water gun.
"Y/n stay behind me, I'm going to get Hueningkai out!" Beomgyu says.
We run around the couch, Beomgyu firing at  Hueningkai.
"Ack! Hyung!" Hueningkai dolphin screams and runs to the bedroom.
"Follow me!" Beomgyu says. He jumps over the couch and pounces on Taehyun. Taehyun shouts and drops his water gun. I snatch it as him and Beomgyu wrestle around on the ground. I run to the kitchen where Soobin is crouching behind the counter.
"Found you!" I spray him with water.
"Y/n ah! Whyyy?"
"You couldn't protect me!" I say. "I had to find someone else!!"
"I'm sorry I'm sorry!!" He says and covers his face.
"Why don't you fight back? You have a water gun too!" I say, stopping my fire at him.
"Oh yeah!" He hops up and starts spraying at me.
"Halt! Not one drop of water shall touch Y/n!" Beomgyu shouts and runs to cover me.
Him and Soobin battle it out as I run in the living room. "You took my defense mechanism!" Taehyun accuses me.
"Yeah, I did. Want it back?" I say. I run through the kitchen and into the hallways that leads to their rooms. I see Yeonjun and Hueningkai spraying each other in the room. "Hide me!" I shout.
"From who?" Yeonjun asks.
"ME!!" Taehyun comes through the door and spots me. "I got you!" I dives towards me and we go falling towards the ground. "I need it!" I say.
"It's mine!" He says, prying it away.
"BEOMGYU!! HELP!! HELP ME!" I shout.
"I'M COMING Y/N!!" Beomgyu shouts. He comes running through the door. "Get off if her!!" He sprays Taehyun with water.
"She stole my gun!" Taehyun says.
"I needed it!" I say.
"Y/n, he can have it! I'll protect you!" Beomgyu says. I let go of the gun and flee the room, leaving behind Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai and Yeonjun. I go back to the kitchen and see Soobin making ramen.
"Have you come to spray me with water?" He asks, stirring the pot of noodles. I laugh. "No, I've surrendered. Are you making dinner?"
"Yeah. Spicy noodles, your favorite. Can you tell the guys that the games over and to straighten up? For some reason they take you more seriously than me." Soobin says.
I laugh and walk back into the chaotic room.
"Guys! Soobin is making dinner. Why don't we clean up this mess for him?"
"Okay Y/n!" They all agree and start cleaning up the mess.
"Thanks guys~" I say. "Here, I'll take the toys." I hold my hands arms out.
They surrender their water guns and I carry them to the storage closet. I walk back to the living room and straighten it up with Yeonjun. "Thanks for helping me."
"Well, I kinda contributed to the mess too." I say.
"Yeah. But still, you could just leave instead of helping."
"Leave and go where? I have nothing better to do."
We laugh and go to the kitchen. The rest of the members walk into the kitchen.
"That was fun!" Beomgyu says.
"Yeah. But it sure was messy." Hueningkai says.
"Who wants to make the kimchi fried rice?" Soobin asks.
"I'll help." I say.
"I'll help Y/n!" Beomgyu says.
"No, I'll help Y/n. Beomgyu, you can watch the noodles." Soobin says.
"I see you." Beomgyu winks.
"Go stir the ramen." Soobin says.
Soobin and I start making the kimchi.
After about 45 minutes were all seated in the living room, eating.
"Thanks to everyone who cooked this food!" Yeonjun says with a mouthful.
"You're welcome." Beomgyu says.
Lately I've been hanging out at the guy's dorm. Soobin brought me here while I was recovering to "keep an eye on me".
"Do you guys have a busy schedule this week?" I ask.
"Not really." Taehyun says. "Why?"
"I was just wondering. I don't want to get in the way of any plans."
"You're fine. You can come whenever you like but we'll only be free at night." Yeonjun says.
"Yeah. It is kinda late isn't it?" I say.
"It's 12:30." Hueningkai says.
"I guess I should head back to my lonely home." I say pathetically.
"You can stay here Y/n, ice told you before." Soobin says.
"I know, but I don't want to invade you guy's space."
"We love having you here!" Beomgyu insists.
"I live being here. Don't worry, I'll be here tomorrow night."
"I'll walk you home." Soobin says standing up. I get up.
"No, you stay here and rest. I'll be okay."
"I don't want you out at night all alone." He says.
"Yeah, let him take you home. This city is dangerous at night." Yeonjun says.
"This city is dangerous in the day time, too." I say. "I'll be alright, I promise. I've navigated this city many times by myself."
"Ah...okay. Call me when you get home." Soobin says.
"Don't worry, I will." We say goodbye and I leave. I take a subway back home.

After laying down in bed I call Soobin. Lately he's been asking me to call him when I get home every night.
"Are you alright?" He asks hurriedly.
"Yes, I'm just calling you tell you that I made it home."
"Okay. Thanks for following up. Did you lock your door?"
"I will now...thank you for reminding me." I get up and lock the door.
"Goodnight Y/n." He says.
"Goodnight." I say.
Lately Soobin has been watching over me. I find it cute when he asks how my day has been. He a good friend.
