The dried leaves crunched as Ten and Eleven walked towards what seemed like a restaurant.Their teared up hospital gowns slightly waving in the wind on the sunny day. They had escaped the lab.A man with a white apron came out of its backdoor and dumped a black trash bag in one of the trash cans. The man walked back in the restaurant through the backdoor followed by Ten and Eleven.
"All right ,and one more"
"Hey Ben, what do you think about that, uh, offer? "
"Hey, I don't know, I don't know. "
"I don't know, 37 points per game average-"
"Thirty seven now, but... "
"Mr.Basket -"
Ten opened the double door that led to the kitchen. She could hear the sizzle of the patties on the pan. Eleven followed her in.
They found two baskets of french fries on the counter. Eleven tries one, to make sure they were edible. She nods at Ten and the twins dig into the fries.
Unfortunately, the owner spotted the two.
"Hey! "
"Come here! "
Ten and Eleven took their basket of fries and started running towards the backdoor. The owner started running after them.
"Hey, come here"
"You think you can steal from me,boys? "
He caught them just before the exit door and turned them around to face him. The twins looked at him, terrified out of their minds .
"What in the hell? "

"Geez"
Ten bite into her burger and started devouring it. Benny turned out to be a kind man who gave them some food and clothes.
Ten was grateful to him but didn't know if he was just another one of the bad men yet.
"Your parents forget to feed you?" asked Benny, looking at the twins who were currently stuffing their faces in their burgers.
The two stayed silent and continued to eat.
"Is that why you ran away?"
"They, uh, they hurt you two ? "
"You guys went to the hospital, you got scared, you ran off, you wound up here, is that it? "
Both the girls looked at Benny with their mouths full.
"Alright" sighed Benny, taking both the burgers
"I'll give these back, all right? and you can have as much as you want. All right? Maybe even some ice cream. But you gotta answer a few of my questions first , all right? "
"We got a deal?" asked Benny after a moment of silence
The two looked at Benny with a blank expression.
"All right, let's start with the easy stuff, all right? "
He raised his hand forward for them to shake.
"My name is Benny, Benny Hammond"
"See? Like this. Here" said Benny, shaking his hand with eleven. He moved to Ten to do the same .
"I got you. Don't worry, it's okay" Benny said calmly
"Nice to meet you, yeah. And you are?"
After not getting a response from either of the girls, Benny sighed . He flipped Ten's hand to reveal her tattoo. She flinched her hand away and Benny sighed again.
"Ten? What's that mean?" He asked
"No." Ten said
"No? No what?" Benny asked
Ten and Eleven didn't answer.
"All right, I guess no more food then. " said Benny, getting up
"Ten is my name" Ten said quickly, not wanting him to take away the food.
Benny nodded and looked at Eleven.
"And you? " He asked
"Eleven" Eleven stated quietly
"All right then, here you go" said Benny, chuckling a bit and handing them their burgers back.
"Take it easy, take it easy"

Ten and Eleven were sitting on a table in the kitchen as they ate ice cream, waiting for Benny to clean the dishes.
"You like those ice creams, huh?" asked Benny, setting aside a cup he had just rinsed.
The twins smiled at him.
"Smile looks good on you two" said Benny
The twins gave him a confused look.
"You know, smile" Benny explain, smiling at the end.
The twins smiled again. Benny chuckled a bit and turned around. There was a knock on the door, startling the twins. They gave Benny a panicked look.
"All right, you two just sit tight. Whoever it is, I'll tell 'em to go away real quick, all right? " said Benny, wiping his hands dry with the cloth that rested on his shoulder and leaving the kitchen.
They heard the door open and Ten widened her eyes, grabbing Eleven's hand and taking her to the back exit.
"It's the bad men, I sense their presence here" Ten said.
As the two reached the back exit, they saw two men with guns pointing at them. Eleven quickly took down the men and the twins ran into the forest.
