It was still raining mercilessly on Hawkins. Ten and Eleven were sitting on a sofa in Mike Wheeler's basement. Both of them were given coats but Ten quickly gave hers to Eleven to warm her up sooner since Ten herself wasn't affected by cold. Unfortunately, they were still wearing the completely soaked oversized shirts that Benny had given them.

Eleven was breathing heavily, still startled from the experience. Ten however was still, trying to understand the boys' motives. She had been observing them for some time now.

One boy was tall and skinny, he was pale and it looked like he was the sort of leader of the group and Ten noted that his face looked kinda like a frog, Papa had told her about many animals and Ten was apparently very interested in them though, Papa had also told her that it's not nice to point out such things on people when she had told one of the guards that they looked like an anteater so Ten didn't point that out.

The other pale boy was clearly uncomfortable in her presence as she had heard him complain and say how it is 'dangerous' for them to bring her and her twin sister with them. He seemed nice though that was probably because the baby fat and curly hair that made him look more innocent and like someone you'd want on your side and that Ten put together that he was more knowledgeable compared to other humans although he was that young.

The last boy was dark skinned and looked like someone you don't want on your bad side. He was extremely annoyed by her and Ellie's presence, it wouldn't take a genius to understand that. He along with the curly haired boy were constantly arguing with the frog-faced boy about her and Eleven coming with them.

"Is there a number we can call for your parents?"

"Where's your hair? Do both of you have cancer?"

"Did you run away?"

"Are you in some kind of trouble?"

"Is that blood ?" asked the dark skinned boy, leaning forward to touch Eleven to which she flinched away.

"Stop it! You're freaking them out!" said the frog-faced boy, slapping away his friend's hand.

"They're freaking me out!"

"I bet they're deaf" theorized the curly-haired boy and then proceeding to clap his hands in front of their faces to which Eleven flinched and Ten glared at the boy.

"Not deaf"

"All right, that's enough, all right? They're just scared and cold." said the frog-faced boy and walked off to get something.

The sound of thunder striking echoed through the neighborhood to which Eleven flinched closer to Ten and Ten scooted closer the Eleven. The frog-faced boy returned with two sets of dry clothes.

"Here, these are clean. Okay?"

Eleven took one of then and softly rubbed her cheek on the dark blue sweater on top and nodding to Ten. The two got up and Eleven made a motion to finally remove the uncomfortable soaking oversized T shirts off of their bodies. Ten didn't, knowing that from Papa.

"No No No"

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!"

In an instant, the frog-faced boy had stopped Eleven from removing the only garment on her body and the other two boys turning around. The curly-haired boy was still chanted 'oh my god' as if it was gonna remove whatever happened from his memories and the dark skinned boy had his left arm over his already covered eyes for no reason.

"See over there? That's the bathroom" said the frog-faced boy, pointing at a door. "Privacy. Get it?"

Eleven stared at him blankly before grabbing her set of clothes, followed by Ten, to where the boy had just pointed. She studied the inside of the bathroom while Ten stared at the boy with no emotions whatsoever.
