(Y/N POV)

"Who is she?" I asked Yang, squinting at the woman.

Yang growled, then responded in a hateful tone,

"She's someone who left me!"

The woman developed a smirk on her face.

"Is that how you speak about your mother to everyone?"

"You left without saying anything to me or Dad! You have no right to call yourself my mother. Summer filled that role!" Yang shouted, her hair flaring up.

"Tch. Well, I'm not here to fight or argue. I simply want to speak to you and Y/N."

"I'm sorry... But how do you know me? I only met Yang at the start of the school year, and Ruby just before that," I questioned.

"Well, let's just say we're more similar than you think. I can't give you all the answers now, but what I can tell you now, my name is Raven Branwen, and you two should be careful who you are following," Raven responded.

Branwen? Isn't that what the man from the breach called me?

"What do you mean?" Yang asked, confused.

"Well, there's a lot more going on than you two might know, but that's all I have to say for now. We will meet again soon."

I watched as she pulled out a katana from its sheathe on her side, then slashed it in the air creating a red portal.

"So you're just gonna leave again? Just like that?!" Yang screamed out.

Raven didn't respond, as she just walked through the portal. Once she was all the way through, the portal disappeared. I glanced over at Yang, who was seething with anger, but she also had tears in her eyes. I frowned at this, then spoke out,

"So... Are you okay?..."

"What do you think?!" She shouted back.

"Yeah... Probably could've guessed that one..."

"I don't understand how the hell she knows you!"

"I'm not sure myself... But maybe she'll show up again," I replied.

I could hear her gritting her teeth, then she started stomping away, further down into the courtyard.

"I'll see you when we go into Vale," She muttered, storming away.

I watched her walk away with a frown on my face. I didn't want her to be by herself at this hour, but it was necessary for her to calm down. Plus, I needed some time to think about what Raven meant.

We're more similar than I think? What the hell does that mean? The only thing similar was our looks... Whatever... I should probably keep this between me and Yang for now...

I let out a huff, then started my walk back to the dorm building.

Timeskip

I had just finished getting ready for the day, putting on a simple outfit which consisted of a white long sleeve with roses on the sleeves, and some dark jeans. I kept my accessories off for today, since I just didn't bother to put them on. I walked out of the bathroom, being greeted with the sight of Cinder. I looked her up and down, observing her outfit for the day. She was wearing her casual clothes, which just consisted of some light jeans and one of my blue sweaters, which was a little big on her. I chuckled at the sight, which caused her to turn over to me.
