I must have fallen asleep because next thing I know is I feel a single raindrop fall and hit my face waking me up.

I look up at the sky and see dark clouds above me so I scrambled to get up and grabbed the blanket inside just before it began pouring.

I sighed and ran down stairs taking a quick shower and throwing on a light blue hoodie and a pair of running shorts. I never really looked at my pinstagram and honestly don't think that I ever even started an account so I decided to set one up before going up to the lab.

I asked Jarvis to set up a fake phone number so my real one wouldn't be spammed and created an account. It was easy enough and I knew exactly what to post first.

I ran down the stairs and stopped just before I ran into Steve who was coming from his own room.

"Woah, where's the fire?" I just scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"Nowhere I'm just going to the lab." I said and continued to run to the lab which was just two flights of stairs away. I found him in the lab staring at a screen just as I had expected.

"Morning!" I said as I burst through the door seeing dad at the computer a fresh cup of black coffee. Bruce was leaning against the holo-table nearly falling asleep as he watched the coffee drip into the pot begging for some energy.

"Did you guys sleep at all?" I came up beside dad and looked at the algorithm on the screen trying to help but didn't look like I could. They did a lot while I was asleep.

"Nope, but who needs sleep when there's coffee." Dad said turning back to me and giving me a hug. "Morning Jo. Did you get sleep?" I rolled my eyes and went to try and figure out what was going on with this algorithm.

"Ya, I mean I might have woke and fell back asleep on the roof." I said calmly as he looked at me confused but shrugged it off.

I got to work on the algorithm then remembered why I came down there in the first place.

"Hey, Dad?" I said moving notes out of the way so I could see him through the clear screen.

"Ya?"

"Can we take a selfie?" I looked confused and I was prepared to answer but he shrugged it off.

"I'm not even going to ask. Sure." I walked over to him and pulled out my phone and took a few. most of them ridiculous but at least one of them normal.

"Great." I said as I posted the picture with #originalstarks and set my phone down and got back to work.

We ran algorithms over and over again and nothing seemed to work no matter how hard we tried or how fast we worked, by the time the party for getting the scepter and seeing Thor came around we weren't even close to the matrix that we were trying to create.

But I hit a pause button on the Matrix near noon so me and Nat could get ready together for the party.

Ok maybe we didn't use all that time getting ready. Most of the time it was us playing Mario Kart on my switch and honestly we were pretty evenly matched neither of us able to stay ahead of the other.

But by the time that we did get ready we looked fabulous. Nat wore her black and white cocktail dress while I wore a wine red skin tight cocktail dress with the same six inch gold heels that I wore for my sweet sixteen.

Nat put her hair into victoria style curls and I straightened my hair accenting my natural highlights that frame my face. Nat stuck to the natural look until her lipstick which became a bright red while I stuck with a nude lip and a smokey eye with a thin liner and wing.

Nat reluctantly took a mirror picture with me after I begged her. But Damn, do we look good.

I had asked if Dallas and Amaya could come but Dad said no because he was inviting some foreign Nationals and he didn't need 3 teenagers and 6 superheroes to look after so, it was just me and the team tonight.
