Chapter 5: Feels

TAILAN TOWN

Wei Zhang pants as he arrived back at the town, he felt a bit tired but that was to be expected when one runs none stop to reach somewhere. He stops to catch his breath, taking deep lungfuls to calm himself.

After calming down he went through the town and to the Inn, he arrived to see everything was calm except for the tavern owner who was looking around on edge before spotting him. He waves making Wei Zhang walk over to him.

"Young master Wei, Master Lan is waiting for you inside his room, he looked quite ill when he arrived," The man said making Wei Zhang nod.

"He was hit with a curse, I will be working to remove it, have meals delivered to master Lan's room but no one is to enter until the curse is gone," Wei Zhang said making the man nod and bow.

"It will be done, good luck young master," He said making Wei Zhang bow back before going up to Lan Xichen's room.

He enters the room to see Lan Xichen in disarray, his six-layered robes rumpled with some thrown around the room in a haste to get them off and down to him just wearing two layers. His hair pieces thrown about the floor and his hair slightly messy, his cheeks flushed and his breath quick. He turns almost stumbling and falling to face Wei Zhang, who rushed forward and caught him before he could hit the floor.

"Easy, let's get you on the bed," Wei Zhang said as he moves the Lan over to bed.

"Wei Zhang," Lan Xichen mutters as he shook his head.

"Tell me how your feelings, what is your body feeling?" Wei Zhang asked as he pulled out silencing talismans and put them around the room and locking the door and windows for privacy.

"Agitated, very hot, my whole body feels feverish, my head feels like I'm floating," Lan Xichen said trying to describe how he was feeling.

"Anything else?" Wei Zhang asked moving over and knelt down to look Lan Xichen over.

He paused when Lan Xichen stiffens, his cheeks turning a deeper red, he looks away and shifts on the spot as if nervous or was he worried? It was hard to tell.

"Lan Xichen, I need to know what's wrong in order to figure out the curse," Wei Zhang said making Lan Xichen gulp before nodding.

"W-Well, ah, it's making my lower body...um, react," Lan Xichen said not meeting Wei Zhang's eyes as he leans back letting his loose robes show the tent Lan Xichen was now pitching.

Wei Zhang's eyes widen before he licks his lips and sighs, he ran a hand through his hair. Of all the curses she had to use, it had to be a lust curse! The Huli Jing had the ability to cast a curse known as the Lustful Seduction curse or Yindong De Youhou Curse, this made the target weaker to their desires, lowers their sense of danger, makes their bodies more sensitive and receptive. Uncontrollable of their actions, it was known to drive people insane and has caused many incidences in marriages and crimes over the years.

The most common way to get this curse was to either anger a Huli Jing or sleep with one, if you didn't satisfy the fox by morning then you would be cursed. So it reflected badly on a person, mostly unfaithful partners.

"She got you with the Yindong De Youhou curse," Wei Zhang said as he moves with caution and used his energy to scan Lan Xichen's to see how strong the curse was.
