Chapter 6: Into the Clouds

Wei Wuxian now 15 and Wei Zhang is 19, Jiang Cheng is gonna be 15 for this story and Lian Kai is 18.

In this chapter, a time skip and the Cloud Arc starts.

Wei Zhang's title is Shouhu Dashi (Guardian Master) with 8 votes, with Zhengyu Zhanshi only getting 2 votes.

Lian Kai's title will be Fangyu Zhe (The Defender) with 6 votes it would have been a tie but those last two votes snuck in. Lie Long Yongshi had 4 votes in the end.

Wei Wuxian's new title will be Zhi Lu Mengdeng (Guiding Light) with 6 votes, while Chibei Shizhe had 3 votes and Shouhu Zhe ended up with 1 vote.

Chapter 6: Into the Clouds

LOTUS PIER

3 YEARS LATER

It was early morning in Lotus Pier as the residents awake to start a new day, among them was the head disciple Wei Ying courtesy name Wei Wuxian. He yawns as he rubbed his face of sleep, normally he wouldn't be up this early but today was not a usual day.

He looks around the area he was in, it was one of the training areas, the 15-year-old chuckles remembering the many training drills he had been through when he first started. He looked around until he spotted a single figure sitting down near the lake at Lotus Pier, well, near the main home area at least.

Walking over Wei Wuxian grins as he said "Morning Da-ge!"

Wei Zhang opens his eyes as glanced over his shoulder, the now 19-year-old male smiled at seeing his little brother. He had grown a bit since his infamous Huli Jing case, Wei Wuxian found it amazing his brother fought one! He took in his brother's form, his muscles had toned out leaving no fat behind due to the excessive training he went through, his hair reached his mid-back which was pulled into a half-ponytail right now. His upper body was currently robeless showing off his broad shoulders and chiseled chest, one that made many ladies and some men drool around Lotus Pier.

Wei Wuxian's eyes then went to the armband on Wei Zhang's left arm, he felt the comfort of his own armband on his left arm, he walks over and sat down beside his brother. While he was not as defined as his brother's muscles wise he still had a lean toned build made more towards speed compared to his brother's strength. Wei Zhang had taught him some martial arts moves since his return to keep him on his toes.

"Morning Didi, your up early," Wei Zhang said as he stops meditating.

"Yeah, we'll be heading to GusuLan today, for the lecture," Wei Wuxian said as he leans on his legs.

"I'm looking forward to it," Wei Zhang said smirking as Wei Wuxian gave him a light shove.

"You just wanna see Lan Xichen again," Wei Wuxian said teasing his brother.

After the Huli Jing incident Wei Zhang has kept in contact with Lan Xichen through letters, Wei Wuxian knew the two were close, closer than just friends but he hasn't confirmed it yet. He just needs some evidence!

"Hm, it's been a while since we've seen each other," Wei Zhang said the last time they saw each other was a year and a half ago on a night hunt near Yunmeng.
