Bad Days - Ateez Jongho

Baby space Jongho, (like 1 – 2), who is not having a good day and is very teary and just wants to be given love and attention.

The members of Ateez were very familiar with the term, age regression, this reason being Jongho. The maknae appeared tough, strong and independent, but a side that he often never showed was his affectionate, clingy and dependant side, this coming out every time that he regressed.

The vocalist was usually always happy but for some reason, he was feeling the blues since the moment that Yunho had gotten him out of bed that morning. Let's take it back to the tallest waking the baby up.

Yunho gently opened the youngest's door, knowing that he would more than likely still be regressed from the previous night, the light red light emitting from the nightlight representing his favourite colour.

The tall boy smiled softly at seeing the tuft of red hair that peeked out from under the covers, the blankets rising and falling at a steady pace. He took slow steps towards the bed and sat down, gently rubbing the boys back to wake him up gently.

"Jjongie baby, time to wake up..." Jongho shifted and grumbled unhappily, eyes opening with tears ready to fall and his bottom lip quivering as he made eye contact with the person who woke him up.

"Aigoo, I'm sorry baby... shhh, don't cry, hyung's got you..." Yunho gently lifted the boy up onto his lap, placing his fallen paci back in his mouth, and standing with Jongho on his hip, bouncing him gently, and ultimately stopping the tears as the baby bear clung to him tightly, head laying on the blonde's shoulder.

"There we go Jjongie, good boy. Now let's go see what Hwa Hwa hyung is making, hmm?" He softly cooed knowing that Jongho was too little to understand but loved to be talked to nonetheless.

As the two entered the kitchen, Hongjoong and Seonghwa had just finished handing out breakfast, and the rest of the members were sat at the table, "Good morning everyone." Yunho smiled as he greeted the younger members who hadn't been up before he went to get Jongho.

"Mornin' hyung." They chorused, all visibly sleepy still. Yunho tried to place the maknae down in his own chair, but the younger just whimpered and whined, arms clinging tighter as he cried.

"Aigoo, what's up with you this morning, hmm?" Yunho hummed as he rocked the boy back and forth, receiving sniffles in response. "Is our baby bear still tired?" Hongjoong cooed as he came closer, gently stroking the baby's cheek.

Jongho whined at the sight of his leader and leaned forward making grabby hands, Hongjoong sat down in his own seat and gestured for the blonde to sit him down on his lap.

Once Jongho was in the arms of the second eldest, his cried subsided, head laying heavily on the rapper's shoulder. "You just want some affection today is all, hmm?" Hongjoong quietly talked to the boy, bouncing his knee softly.

Seonghwa placed a bowl of yogurt with strawberries and blueberries in front of Hongjoong along with some kimchi fried rice with a side of bacon for the leader. Thanking him softly, Hongjoong removed the pacifier from Jongho's lips, hushing him softly when he began to whimper again.

"We have something yummy for you aegi, Hwa Hwa hyung prepared it for you." The rapper sang softly, acknowledging that the regressor can be quite sensitive to loud voices. He held up a spoon full of yogurt to the baby's mouth, watching happily as he downed it with no problems.

Hongjoong allowed the boy to help himself to the fruits while he ate his meal, stopping every few seconds to feed him a spoonful of yogurt. Jongho hummed happily, stuffing the berries into his mouth and releasing little noises of content at the tastes as he did so, receiving coos from all of his hyungs.

"Aigoo, look at your hands aegi, let's get those cleaned up, yes?" Yeosang smiled making Jongho smile back, and laugh as the older pretended to tickle him with the wet wipe. Immediately his clean thumb went straight to his mouth, a fit of tears erupting when it was pulled away.

He heard a soft, sad sigh as he was lifted into his Seonghwa hyungs arms, the oldest gently paced the room, humming a gentle lullaby to calm him down while Wooyoung prepared a bottle for him.

"There we go baby bear, good boy. You're okay, Hwa Hwa has you..." As the little calmed down, Seonghwa took a seat on the couch, and readjusted Jongho so that he was laid across his lap, head in the crook of his elbow, San taking the seat next to him and pulling the baby's legs onto his lap, gently rubbing up and down to keep him settled.

"Thank you, Woo." Seonghwa smiled as the second youngest came in with the morning bottle, Wooyoung hummed and smiled, sitting on San's other side, and cuddling up to the pink haired boy.

Seonghwa delicately nudged the tip of the bottle to Jongho who happily mouthed at it, the sweet taste of the milk mixed with honey exploding on his tastebuds. He hummed and made little noises as he suckled, showing the other members that he loved the conjunction.

"Hwa hyung, maybe put him down for a nap after his bottle, he might be a little cranky because he is still tired." Hongjoong said as he entered the room, "Ne, I will." Seonghwa nodded, already having planned on it.

"There we go sweet boy, that was yummy wasn't it precious?" Seonghwa cooed as Jongho slowly finished his bottle, eyes drooping slowly. "Here hyung." Mingi whispered handing Seonghwa Jongho's paci and special blankie, "Thank you Gi." The mother hen smiled, handing the blanket to the half sleeping baby, and placing the pacifier between his lips.

The singer carefully stood up, carrying the younger to the bedroom where he laid the boy down on the bed, hushing him softly as he began to cry and whimper at the loss of contact, "You're okay Jjongie, Hwa isn't going anywhere bub..." Seonghwa climbed into the bed and scooped the vocalist close to his chest.

At Jongho's sniffles not subsiding, Seonghwa gently ran his fingers up and down the boys arm, humming a gentle tune to keep him calm, evidentially working as Jongho's eyes successfully shut, tear stains still littered his cheeks, but a slight smile now on the boy's once sad face that had been on all morning.
