He is being bullied at school. (With a twist of my own).
It wasn't serious enough to tell his hyungs. This is what Yugyeom thought everyday as he wandered the school halls, fear filling his mind at what that day in particular would hold for him.
It was just some harsh criticism and soft shoves. He thought whenever someone told him that he wasn't good enough to be in GOT7 and shoved him into the lockers.
They're just kids. He would reason to himself, subconsciously defending the boys that would
push and shove him around.
I can deal with it. He told himself every morning before leaving for school. Just like he did this morning when Mark woke him up for the day. The day where everything changed, where his mindset changed to that of a more reasonable mindset.
"Gyeom-ah. Time for school." Mark gently shook the maknae awake, the oldest boy was concerned about the youngest. As of late, his teasing towards Yugyeom was not met back with teasing words from the tall maknae but instead a fake smile and a fake laugh, leading the older to stop the teasing completely. Not only that, but Yugyeom had become closed off and distant towards all the members, and even his friends outside of GOT7.
Jungkook had been the first to contact him, followed by the rest of the ninety-seven liners within the group, all expressing their concerns for their usually hyperactive friend.
Yugyeom whined and turned over, still half asleep. Mark chuckled and shook the male some more, pulling the blankets away from the boys' head. "Yugyeom-ah. Up." He called a little sterner, not expecting the slight flinch from Yugyeom.
"Don't wanna go hyung..." The dancer whispered under his breath but Mark heard, "Why not aegi?" Yugyeom mumbled something too soft for the rapper to hear, only hearing one word, "Bully? What? Yugyeom-ah, is someone bullying you?" Mark asked in shock, standing up when Yugyeom shot up from bed, eyes wide, "What? No! They aren't!" Mark nodded wanting to calm the frantic boy, "Must have been dreaming aegi? Why don't you go get ready? Hyung is taking you today and Bammie will be going today too, his lesson was cancelled."
Yugyeom breathed out in relief as the older male left the room, he barely got away with that. At least that's what he thought.
"Bammie?" Mark called out as he entered the kitchen area where all the members were waiting for Yugyeom and Mark so that they could start eating breakfast. "Yeah hyung?"
"Have you noticed anything going on at your school? Maybe something to do with some kids bullying someone?" BamBam shook his head, eyebrows furrowed, "Not that I know of, why?"
Mark sighed and checked the hallway quickly, "Just keep an eye on Yugyeom for me today? I'm going to come up to the school at lunch and talk with the principal, but I have a feeling that Yugy might be getting bullied." This caught everyone's attention, though no one could say anything, as Yugyeom walked into the room.
Breakfast was, well, calmer than usual, still not peaceful, but it just less chaotic. Yugyeom was yawning and his head kept dropping as he dozed off but Jackson kept him awake by talking to the maknae about different dances that they could include for choreographies.
"Alright boys! Let's get a move on. I'll drop you both off and pick you up later on today, yeah?" BamBam and Yugyeom quickly grabbed their book bags and bid goodbye to the remaining members at the table who were stuck on cleaning duty.
"Alright you two, have a good day, okay? Look out for each other and hyung will be here at three to pick you up." Yugyeom and BamBam thanked Mark and left the car together, beginning their walk into school.
