Chapter 15: The Hiking

Y/n's POV:

After the incident yesterday, the atmosphere feels gloomy and tensed, it was obviously mine and Chaeyoung's fault.

I was walking with Mina unnie as we are currently on a hiking, Chaeng was at the last row with Jeongyeon unnie, I let out a sigh as I glanced at her.

"Y/n, everything's going to be okay. I'll settle it, alright?" Mina unnie assured as she held my hand, I nodded at her.

We finally went in a halt, a beautiful waterfall is facing us, I stepped forward, admiring the water that flows down gracefully and it's relaxing sound as it hits the end, I closed my eyes, enjoying the peaceful moment.

Once I opened them, I averted it on my left and saw Chaeyoung starin at me, she quickly looked away, I sighed heavily and followed Mina unnie.

Chaeyoung's POV:

As we are in a stop, I suddenly saw Y/n by the falls, she's… she is so beautiful.

I can only admire her from afar for the meantime, the guilt inside me is growing, I shouted at her and I shouldn't have let my emotions get the best of me.

I secretly took a picture of her, I quickly hid my phone as I finished. I stared at her once more, admiring on every bits of her, I smiled as I saw her at ease.

Suddenly, she averted her gaze at me, I quickly looked away. When I looked back at her direction, she was out of sight.

I let out a sigh and made my way to Jeongyeon unnie. I want to apologize to her, but how? How can I do it, if she keeps on ignoring me? She probably think I'm a bad person.

I averted my gaze and saw her smiling with Mina unnie. I envy her, she's right, how can I make Y/n like me with this shitty attitude. I stared at them with sadness and jealousy.

3rd Person's POV:

The girls went back to ther guest house. Y/n flopped down on her bed, her feet is numb and sore from walking.

A soft knock was heard, "H-hey, can I come in?" Y/n stood up and opened her door, revealing a nervous cub.

"H-hi." She greeted awkwardly Y/n bowed and let her in, "Y-you don't need to bow at me." Y/n went to her bed and sat down.

She stared at Chaeyoung with 'what do you need?' resting bitch face. "I'm sorry." Y/n pursed her lips as those words escaped Chaeyoung's lips.

'Should I forgive her? What if she does it again? I should probably give her a chance…?' Y/n thought, she stood up and stared at Chaeyoung, making the latter beyond nervous.

Y/n hugged her, surprising the latter, she immediatedly hugged back, 'I forgive you, Chaeng. I hope, I can talk.' Y/n thought and brok the hug.

"D-do you forgive me?" Y/n nodded, as Chaeyoung smiled widely, "Thank you, Y/n." Y/n nodded and left, leaving the short-haired girl confused.

'I thought, we're alright?' Chaeyoung thought. Y/n on the other hand, was walking by the shore, her sandals in between her fingers.

She stared at the setting sun, "Hey, Y/n! You alright?" Y/n turned her head and saw Sana, she smiled and nodded.

The older saw the latter walking alone, so she decided to join with Y/n's whiteboard and marker with her. "Oh, I brought these, since I thought we can hangout for a bit."

Sana smiled sweetly at Y/n, the latter wrote, "Thank you, unnie. It will be easier like this. And of course, we can hangout."

Sana grinned, "It's nothing, but I do hope we can always do this." Y/n wiped her board, "We can, unnie. Just call me and I'll be there."

The younger smiled at the older girl, which made Sana go 'UwU' and hugged her like a baby.

They sat together, chatting with each other as they stare at the scene in front of them, but unknown to them, a pair of eyes were watching them from afar.
