Chapter 4: Different

3rd Person's POV:

Chaeyoung woke up earlier than the others, despite that she slept late. She still feels energized and happy, and she was aware who was the reason behind it, she proceeded to the kitchen and started making breakfast for all of them.

 Jeongyeon and Jihyo walked in, seeing Chaeyoung cooking and humming happily, "Looks like someone finally woke up on the right side of the bed."

The younger got startled and turned her head, seeing Jeongyeon and Jihyo smirking at her.

"Don't give me that look, unnie. Can you please wake the other girls up?" She asked politely, taking the two girls aback.

"O-okay, I-I'll be back in a bit." Jihyo replied, still in utter shock, "Did something happened last night?" Jihyo asked herself as she made her way to the rooms.

Meanwhile, "Unnie, your smirk is getting annoying, please stop it." Chaeyoung whined, "Well, I won't stop until YOU. TELL ME THE REASON. WHY. YOU. ARE SMILING LIKE AN IDIOT!" Jeongyeon smirked once again, "No." Chaeyoung answered, making Jeongyeon groan.

The girls soon came, she immediately darted her eyes on Y/n who was sleeping on Mina's back, her smile immediately disappeared.

"Why is she still asleep?" Asked Jeongyeon. "She said she's still sleepy and do not want to get up, so I carried her, instead.

Should I place her on the couch?" Mina asked, "Nayeon-ah, please wake your cousin up, we should eat altogether." Jeongyeon said and Nayeon nodded.

"Y/n-ah, wake up~!" Nayeon said as she softly taps Y/n's cheek, the latter groaned and buried her face on Mina's neck.

Chaeyoung slammed her hand on the table, Y/n shot her head up, meeting Chaeyoung's flaring eyes, the latter gulped and slowly got down.

"Haha, that is enough, we are already hungry. Let's eat!" Dahyun said, trying to ease the tensed atmosphere.

Y/n sat down between Nayeon and Tzuyu, "Here, Y/N, have some of mine." Nayeon said, placing some of her food on Y/n's plate.

"Never thought you could be caring." Tzuyu huffed out, making Nayeon scoff, "I'm the sweetest cousin you can have."

"Can you eat silently?" Chaeyoung asked, clearly irritated, "Woah! Chill there, cub. You are all smiley and happy earlier, what happened?" Jeongyeon asked, teasing the younger girl, "Not a word." Jeongyeon shut her mouth, not wanting to get killed. 

'Chaeyoung smiled?' Y/n thought, "Y/n, eat up, we're going to be late." Dahyun said, Y/n took her board and wrote. "I am full now, let's go." Dahyun nodded and stood up.

"Let's get ready now, guys. We do not want to get late." Jihyo said, more like, shouted. The maknaes went to their shared rooms and changed into their uniform.

"Yah! Can you move faster?" Chaeyoung asked rudely as she repeatedly knock on the door.

Y/n opened the door and smiled at Chaeyoung, stepping out of the bathroom. Chaeyoung rushed inside, ignoring Y/n.

'Did she just smiled at me? Why do I feel warm?' Chaeyoung thought, she ruffled her hair in frustration, "Am I getting insane?" She huffed out and changed in her uniform.

After a while, she went out and didn't saw Y/n in their room, she shrugged and went downstairs, meeting the girls.

Her eyes narrowed as she saw Mina holding Y/n's hand, her blood boiled at the sight, "Let's go." She said in her monotone voice and walked away. 

"What's wrong with her?" Tzuyu asked, the others shrugged, not really knowing the reason.

As for Chaeyoung, she have her hands on her pocket and her head was hanging low, her hoodie covering most of her face.

Y/n stared at Chaeyoung curiously, she loosen her grip Mina's hand, "Where are you going, Y/n?" The younger pointed at Chaeyoung, Mina bit her lower lip and nodded. 

Y/n walked towards Chaeyoung, Chaeyoung noticed her presence and shot her head to Y/n.

The girl sent her the most heart- warming smile, she hang her head low once again, her face heating up.

"They are going to be together someday." Sana said, "Nah, I doubt that." Momo replied, staring at the two girls ahead of them.

Mina, on the other hand, was plotting on how to make move to Y/n and how she can be with Y/n.

Love was really conscuring, it can make you feel contented, as it can also make you feel greedy.
