7. Play Time At Grandpa's Cabin Chapter 5

  The 3 brother's got home. As soon as they got out in their backyard, they started practicing with themselves for 3 hours.
  Mrs. Douglas caught them practicing in their back yard. She went out of the house and walked up to them ,, Colt. How was the test today? ''
,, Easier than I thought actually. '' Colt smiled.
  Mrs. Douglas smiled back. That's all she wanted to know anyway so she turned around and walked back inside; for she also wanted to let her boy's do their thing by supporting them.
 
  Next day came. It was Saturday. They had no practice on Friday, because Mrs. Douglas told them they could rest.
  The boy's went to Grandpa's Cabin. They practiced with themselves again for 3 hours. They felt like as if they were getting better and better.
  After 3 hours of practice, the boys helped Grandpa setting thing's up. They also fought with Grandpa during they worked (as extra practice), to see if they were ready for Sunday.
They worked hard until the sun begun to set.
  Grandpa and the boy's got tired, went inside for dinner and made ready for bed. The boy's were now staying at Grandpa's Cabin tonight, for tomorrow was the competition and they'd be there just in time.
  Next Morning, was finally Sunday. Grandpa woke the boys up again with a different test. The boys made themselves prepared all morning long.
  The competition didn't start until 4pm. So the boys and Grandpa had almost a whole day to get everything ready.
  But the time flew by fast. Finally, the clock hit 3:30pm.  All teams from Japan begun to arrive at Grandpa's cabin. But this time, all teams gathered themselves outside under decks (booths) that were set up for them, instead of gathering themselves in Grandpa's cabin. There also was a deck (booth) set up for Grandpa's team.
  People who came to watch also begun to arrive. They all brought their own chair's along with themselves to sit down and watch.
,, Wow. There are more people coming than I expected. '' Rocky said as he watched the crowd making themselves at home.
,, Hey Rock. You won't believe what I just saw. '' Colt claimed.
,, What? ''
  Colt pointed out to the crowd of people. Their Dad, came with their Mom.
,, It's Dad! '' Rocky's face lighten up with a smile.
,, Dad? '' Tumtum heard Rocky's last word.
  Colt smiled. The Boy's never thought that their father would ever come to competition's like this. Especially, when it was about Ninja fighting.
  Then Rocky saw Emily coming over the bridge with her friends. A smile played on Rocky's lips.
  The clock turn 4pm. The competition was finally about to start. One of the judge's walked up on the carpet, holding a microphone in his hands.
,, Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the Musashi Ninja Clan Shinobi-Samurai Honjin Dojo school, competition! '' The judge called.
The crowd applaused.
,, Now first of all, I wanna thank you all for coming. For those, who are here to see the final winner, best championship of the Ninja fighting of the month. And I also wanna thank Morri Shintaro, who owns the white team. Thank you, Mr. Shintaro for inviting us all, and setting something like this up here in America. '' The judge finished.
  The crowd cheered. Grandpa nodded as saying your welcome and smiled.
,, Now. Let's get these battles begin! Good luck everyone! '' The judge left the carpet.
  The big bell made a bang!
One member from team purple, and one member from team yellow went on the carpet, and begun to fight against each other. They both did really good.
   After a minute, the purple member defeated the yellow member. That means, team yellow was out and team purple could move on.
  Next, one of the green team members had to go against the purple member. The green member was actually at some ways better than the purple was.
  So again. The team green member defeated the purple member. Team purple was out and team green could move forward.
  Next, one of the blue team members had to go against the green member. The blue member was better than the green member this time.
  It didn't even took a minute, until the blue member had the green member down. The green team lost and the blue team could go on.
  Now, the blue member had to go against the white team. As in, Tumtum.
  The crowd cheered.
,, Tumtum. Are you sure you can do this? '' Colt asked.
,, I'm sure. It's not that I never done this before. '' Tumtum answered.
,, We got your back, bro. '' Rocky put his hand on Tumtums shoulder.
  Tumtum nodded and smiled. He left his team and got on the carpet.
,, Yay! '' Mrs. Douglas cheered.
,, You got this son! '' Mr. Douglas added.
  The bell made a BANG!
The blue member started to kick right away. But which he missed at everytime.
,, Come on Tum! '' Colt yelled.
  Suddenly, Tumtum kicked the blue member in the middle.
,, Yes! '' Rocky and Colt smiled and gave each other a high-five.
  The blue member bent over. Tumtum jumped once and kicked the blue member in the face. Then he punched him on the nose. Then he kicked him once at last in the face.
  The blue member fell down. The crowd stood up and cheered.
,, What a wonderful performance for this 9 yearold! Give it up for Michael Douglas! '' The judge yelled.
  The crowd cheered and applaused. Except for the blue team. Who just lost and got upset.
  Tumtum smiled and threw his hands up in the air. Then he turned and looked at the blue member he defeated.
  But wait. What? Tumtum saw long hair sticking out from the person's Ninja headwear he had on. It was a girl!
  Tumtum couldn't believe his eye's. He walked up closer to the girl.
,, What's he doing? '' Colt wondered.
  Everyone stared at Tumtum, wondering all what he was about to do.
  Tumtum bent down on his knees and smiled ,, What's your name? ''
  The girl stared at Tumtum for a bit ,, Tanisha. ''
  Tumtum smiled. He reached his hand out to help Tanisha up.
  Tanisha smiled back and grabbed Tumtums hand. Then they both got up.
  Rocky and Colt smiled at each other. Mr. Douglas put his arm around Mrs. Douglas and smiled as well.
  Grandpa smiled and nodded.
,, I'm Tumtum. '' Tumtum reached his hang out to shake hands with the Ninja girl.
  They both shook hands with each other and smiled. Then they both left and went back to their own teams.
,, Wow Tumtum. That was very smart of you. '' Rocky said.
,, Now. That was a real Ninja out there. '' Colt smiled.
  Tumtum smiled back.
,, You've done a very pleasant job out there Tumtum. I'm very proud of you. '' Grandpa hugged his grandson.
,, Alright! Let's keep this going! '' The judge called.
,, Who's going next? '' Rocky asked.
,, Who should you go against this time? '' Grandpa wondered.
  The boy's caught their eyes on the red team's, tough Ninja captain again, going onto the carpet.
,, Crap. '' Rocky shook his head.
,, Why is he going on the carpet again? Shouldn't it be one of their other members? '' Grandpa wondered.
,, Probably because their to afraid to lose. '' Tumtum replied.
,, It's alright guy's. I'll go. '' Colt claimed.
,, What? Are you serious? '' Tumtum asked.
,, Yes. I am. I almost couldn't stand it as Rocky had to go against him Thursday. '' Colt admitted.
  Rocky nodded ,, Do it for Rocky. ''
,, Yeah. Do it for Rocky! '' Tumtum yelled.
,, Do it, for us. '' Grandpa chuckled.
Colt nodded ,, Alright. '' Colt left his team and got on the carpet.
  The crowd cheered.  The tough red captain looked strict at Colt. Colt did the same.
  The bell made a BANG!
Colt and the red captain both started to move around. Suddenly, the red captain jumped to kick Colt in the face. But he missed.
  They both started to fight. And it took longer than anyone expected. The red captain had almost Colt down. But Colt was strong enough to get back up again.
,, Come on Colt. '' Rocky said.
,, Get'em Colt. Get'em! '' Tumtum yelled.
  Colt jumped and kicked the red captain in the face. The red captain fell down.
  The crowd stood up and cheered. But the red captain got up again with an angry face. He walked up walked up towards Colt, then they both continued fighting again.
  The red captain hit Colt in the stomach. Colt bent over and fell to the ground.
  Mr. and Mrs. Douglas stood up and gasped. Rocky and Tumtum gasped aswell.
  Colt tried to get up, but it was so hard.
,, Well, it looks like we found ourselves a winner here! '' The judge said.
  As Colt heard the judges words, he got up quickly and ran up towards the red captain, jumped and kicked him in the back.
  The red captain fell. Colt went and sat on him and punched him once in the face. The red captain black out and that meant, team white had won!
  The crowd stood up and cheered.
,, Yeah Colt, yeah! '' Rocky shout.
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas laughed and hugged each other.
  Grandpa and Tumtum left their booth and ran up to the carpet and hugged Colt tightly.
,, And we have our winner's! Morri Shintaro with his boy's, Samuel, Jeffrey and Michael Douglas! '' the judge claimed.
  The crowd's cheering went louder.
  The 3 brother's and Grandpa released their hug and saw their parents coming up to them.
,, Oh my gosh. You were amazing! '' Mrs. Douglas hugged Colt.
,, Thanks. '' Colt smiled. Then he saw his Dad smiling at him.
  Mrs. Douglas let Colt go of their hug.
,, Hey Dad. '' Colt smiled a bit.
,, Hey. You were very good out there. Really. '' Mr. Douglas said.
   Colt smiled.
,, I'm proud of you son. '' Mr. Douglas put his hand on Colts shoulder.
,, Thanks. '' Colt replied.
  Mr. Douglas gave Colt a hug. Something that he didn't do often ,, Your welcome. ''
,, Uh hello? Earth to dad? '' Tumtum waved as he joked.
  Mr. Douglas and Colt let go of their hug ,, Oh yeah. Sorry. You two. Rock and and Tumtum. '' he chuckled.
  Mrs. Douglas and Grandpa laughed.
  Rocky smiled. Than he saw Emily coming towards him. Rocky went to approach her. Both smiled at each other.
,, Wow. That was amazing! '' Emily gave Rocky a hug.
,, Thanks. Well, thanks to my brother, actually. '' Rocky said as they both let go of their hug.
,, You boy's are awesome. '' Emily shook her head and smiled.
,, So are you. '' Rocky blushed.
  Emily thought a bit than she blushed back. Suddenly, they both slowly lean in for a kiss.
  Grandpa, Colt and Tumtum spotted Rocky and Emily kissing.
,, Oh come on. Seriously Rocky? '' Tumtum yelled.
,, Hey. I was the one who beat the guy up! '' Colt joked.
  Rocky and Emily stopped their kiss and looked at Colt ,, No way Colt. She's mine! '' Rocky held Emily tight.
   Emily begun to laugh.
,, Don't worry. You'll get there too Colt. '' Grandpa chuckled.
,, It's not that I'm jealous or anything. '' Colt replied. Then he caught Tumtum starring at him in a smirking face.
,, Don't look at me like that. '' Colt rolled his eye's.
,, Just checking if you were jealous. '' Tumtum said.
,, I'm not. '' Colt replied.
,, Alright boy's. You both are jealous. Now stop it. '' Mr. Douglas said.
  The judges came up to the Douglas family, carrying a big picture frame with them.
,, Douglas Ninjas? '' The judge asked.
,, Here's your gift. '' the judge handed the frame over to Grandpa.
  Grandpa took the frame. In the frame were Rocky, Colt, and Tumtums name in it (including Grandpa's), as the winner for the month.
,, Congratulations. '' The judge said and shook hands with Grandpa and the boy's.
,, Thank you. '' Grandpa smiled.
,, You're welcome. '' The judge smiled.
  Rocky, Colt and Tumtums thank you was bowing in front of the judge and back up (in a Ninja way).
  The judge left.
,, This looks awesome. '' Rocky said as he looked at the frame.
,, This should be hanging on my wall next to my bed. '' Tumtum claimed.
,, No. I'll hang it up in your bedroom where you call all see it. '' Mrs. Douglas said.
,, Sure. '' Colt nodded.
,, Yeah. '' Rocky added.
Tumtum sighed ,, Okay fine. '' he agreed.
,, So, as a family here, including Emily '' Mr. Douglas smiled at Emily ,, Why don't we all go home and order a pizza for dinner? ''
,, Yeah. ''
,, Sounds good to me. '' Mrs. Douglas agreed.
,, I'd like to stay. But I don't wanna be in the way. '' Emily admitted.
,, Oh no problem. You just kissed my son. '' Mrs. Douglas said.
  Everyone laughed. Of course she did kissed their son.
  And that's what they all did. They all headed home to Douglas's house and ordered pizza as a celebration.
  Mrs. Douglas hung the frame on the wall in the boy's bedroom. What another week the boy's had. Which they enjoyed and always will.
