8. From Enemies To Friendship Chapter 1

  One great Tuesday afternoon, Rocky, Colt and Tumtum were in school.
Mrs. Douglas was at home baking and Mr. Douglas was out in town at work.
  Grandpa was at his cabin. Around 2 o'clock, he got out of his cabin and got to his car and and headed out to Douglas's house.
  Mrs. Douglas was in the kitchen. Then she heard a knock on the door and someone came inside ,, Who is it? '' she asked.
,, It's Morri. '' Grandpa closed the door behind him and came into the kitchen.
,, Hey Dad. What brings you here today? '' Mrs. Douglas asked as she took a baking plate out of the oven.
,, I came here to ask and tell you something. '' Grandpa answered.
,, Sure. What is it? '' Mrs. Douglas put another baking plate of apple pie into the oven, ready for it to bake.
,, Han and Shintaya from Japan are here in Los Angeles at the airport to come and visit and... ''
,, They're here? '' Mrs. Douglas gasped.
,, Yes. Well, not here here. Here in LA at the airport. '' Grandpa replied.
,, Well what are they doing here? And did they brought their children along with them? ''
,, They are here to visit. And yes. They took their children along with them. ''
,, How come they haven't say anything? ''
,, I'm sorry. But I didn't knew it either, until they called and told me they arrived at the airport. '' Grandpa said.
  Mrs. Douglas sighed ,, Where are they gonna stay tonight? They can't stay here. ''
,, I'll help them find a place to stay. They can stay at my place, and take the boys room. ''
,, Ain't it a little to small? ''
,, True. '' Grandpa started to realize that the small family wouldn't be able to sleep all in the boys room up in Grandpa's cabin, for it was to small for another 2 adult's to lay in.
,, How long are they planning to visit? '' Mrs. Douglas asked.
,, Only 2 week's. I was just about to pick them up from the airport, and maybe I'll pick up the boy's up from school too. '' Grandpa answered.
,, Oh. They got there with their bikes. '' Mrs. Douglas mentioned.
,, I'll load them up on my car, then they can ride with me. '' Grandpa replied.
,, Uh okay. Are you sure you all will be able to fit in your car? '' Mrs. Douglas joked.
  Morri looked at his daughter in a confused face.
,, I'm kidding. You will probably. '' Mrs. Douglas went on ,, Anyways. The Boy's will be surprised. They never met their Japanese cousin's before. ''
,, Oh I bet the boy's will get excited. You need anything from town? '' Grandpa wondered.
,, Not really. But I do have a small list I put on the refrigerator to go shopping later. '' Mrs. Douglas walked up to the refrigerator and took the note off from the fridge. Then she gave it to Grandpa.
,, I'll try to look for everything that's on here. '' Grandpa smiled as he turned around and headed to the door.
,, Alright. Thank you Dad. '' Mrs. Douglas smiled back.
  Grandpa got out of the house as the door closed behind him.
  Mrs. Douglas sighed and went back to her work. Han was her stepbrother, who Grandpa mentioned earlier that were in America to visit. Mrs. Douglas rushed to get her phone to call her husband at work, that they're having company from Japan.
 
  Rocky and Colts school was out as the bell rang. Pupils begin to walk out of their classrooms and to outside towards the parking lot.
  Rocky and Emily walked out together.
,, Bye Rock. '' Emily said.
,, See'ya. '' Rocky and Emily gave each other a kiss then Emily left. Rocky walked up to Colt and Justin.
,, Alright. Catch up with you later Colt. '' Justin said as he also was about to leave.
,, Yeah. See'ya. '' Colt replied as Justin left and Rocky got at his side.
  The 2 brother's got on their bikes and headed off to Tumtums school.
  Grandpa arrived at Tumtums school, with Han and Shintaya, and their 3 son's he picked up from the airport. There was a grocery store a half mile away, so Grandpa decided to go shop a little for Mrs. Douglas, with Han and Shintaya.
  The 3 son's of Han and Shintaya were Shan, Zhen and Kyo. And they were all the same age as Rocky, Colt and Tumtum. And, they never met nor saw each other in their whole life!
  Grandpa asked them to stay and  watch the car while they went to the grocery store.
  Rocky and Colt arrived at Tumtums school. They waited outside at Tumtums bike for the school bell to rang.
  They both waited a while. Then suddenly, Rocky saw Grandpa's car in the parking lot ,, Isn't that Grandpa's car? '' he pointed.
  Colt raised his eyebrows. He nodded ,, Sure is. But who are those guys sitting in it? ''
  Rocky and Colt looked from the car to one another then back to the car. Their faces turned strict.
  Zhen, the 2nd from oldest son of Han and Shintaya sat at the steering wheel and pretended he wanted to drive Grandpa's car. He grabbed the key and turned it over and started the cars engine.
  Just then, Rocky and Colt got there.
,, Hey! Who do you think you are, trying to steal someone else's car? '' Colt asked.
  Zhen shocked and turned quickly at Rocky and Colt. Then he turned and looked at his brother's, Shan and Kyo.
  Shan, the oldest son of Han and Shintaya, was just about to jump and kick Colt in the face, but Rocky could grabbed his brother and pulled him away, so Shan missed and fell to the ground.
  ,, Whoa! '' Colt looked from Rocky to Shan, who laid on the ground.
  Zhen and Kyo got out of the car and stood prepared as if they wanted to fight.
  Shan got up and joined his brothers by standing prepared, gathered around Rocky and Colt.
,, Are these Ninja too? '' Colt asked.
,, Well I guess we'll have to find out. '' Rocky answered as he and Colt tighten their fists ready.
  Suddenly, Zhen begun to make a move at Rocky. Then Shan and Kyo made a move at Colt.
  The battle begun, out on a school's parking lot (which doesn't happen that often).
  Colt went against Shan and Kyo, while Rocky went against Zhen.
  They fought for a while, until Colt got Shan down. But Shan got up quickly and payed Colt back with a hit in Colts face. He fell down to the ground.
,, Colt! '' Rocky yelled as he kicked Zhen in fne stomach.
  The school bell rang. Seconds later, pupils continued coming out of the school building.
  Tumtum got outside at his bike. Then he caught Rocky and Colt fighting against some stranger's in the parking lot.
,, What are they fighting in the parking lot for? '' Tumtum wondered and stuck a piece of candy bar into his mouth.
  Then he saw Grandpa's car standing right next to where the boy's were fighting.
  Tumtums eye's got big. He dropped his backpack and ran up to his brother's ,, Wait! You guy's? '' he yelled.
  Rocky got Zhen down. Then he went to help Colt.
,, Rocky, Colt! What do you think you're doing and not telling me? '' Tumtum asked.
  Just then, Grandpa, Han and Shintaya got back, with a big shocking surprise on their face.
,, Rocky! Colt! '' Grandpa yelled, trying to stop them.
,, Shan! Zhen! Kyo! '' Han and Shintaya tried to stop their boy's.
  Grandpa went and grabbed Rocky and Colt on their shirts and pulled them away. Han went and stopped their sons.
,, What's wrong with you boy's? '' Grandpa looked from Rocky and Colt back to another. Rocky's and Colts face were sweating and full of anger.
,, But Grandpa! '' Colt said.
,, Those boys were trying to steal your car! '' Rocky explained.
,, Steal my car? My grandson's would never steal my car. '' Grandpa claimed.
,, Grandson's? '' Rocky and Colt both gasped in a shock.
,, Grandson's? '' Tumtum added.
,, Yes. Wait... '' Grandpa held on a little bit ,, now I know. You never met your cousin's from Japan before. ''
,, Cousin's? '' Colt asked.
