With shaky hands, you bring the phone to your ear. You breathe deeply as you say, "Okay Bakugo."
You heard a choke on the other end, Bakugo quickly sputtering, "Re-really?"
"Yeah." You nodded your head as if he could see you.
"Ok... we will meet tomorrow morning at Mina's... is that alright?"
"Mhm."
There was a pause as you could practically feel the smile on the other end, the thought of it making your breath catch.
"Thank you." That is all he said- and it spoke a million words to you. The way he said it was heartbreaking- like he was fighting for this moment this whole time and you were his salvation.
The phone went silent as he hung up, but you kept the warm device to your ear. Finally, for what felt like forever you sighed putting your arm down and hugged your knees to your chest. Holding yourself in this cradling position felt comforting, your mind on a rampage. What if someone did set up Bakugo? What kind of sick person would do that? Also... what did that mean about your relationship with him?
There was a knock on the door making you perk up- 'oh yeah I'm at a party.' Tears were cascading down your eyes as you stood. You sniffled as you tried to quickly wipe them away, you hadn't even noticed you were crying. "Y-yes..?"
"Hey (Y/n)? Are you alright in there?" Hawk's calm voice spoke on the other side. "You been in there for a while...do you need anything?"
You quickly open the door, the blonde male standing before you in the doorway. His brows furrowed with worry.
"I'm okay..." You whispered and tried to smile through the pain. "Well... actually... I'm not feeling too well... would you be able to take me home?"
He eyed you suspiciously, "Okay..." He pinched your cheek playfully making you blush. "Come on." He ushered you out of the bathroom with a protective wing wrapped around you. You smiled softly feeling this comfort.
Walking into the dining room you saw Dabi at the table fiddling with the poker chips, making them clack together. The music and commotion were now gone, everyone must have left.
Dabi looked at you with a mocking grin, "Was it too much for you princess?"
You awkwardly smiled shifting from one foot to the other. How do you say, 'hey my ex said he didn't mean to cheat on me so now I'm a big mess'? You don't. Instead, you just took the blow, "Yeah... I just have a headache and really bad stomach pain..."
Dabi dropped the chips on the table, his smirk falling as well. You awkwardly pull at the cuff of your sleeve, you didn't understand why he was staring at you like that.
Silence filled the room.
Hawks nervously chuckled, "Dabi. She's not feeling well, I know you had a lot to drink so imma take her home... yeah?"
You looked down at your feet, unable to look into Dabi's eyes, was he mad you were leaving?
"Hm...why not stay here?" He questioned, standing up in front of you. "Don't you want to stay here? With me?" He grinned as he leaned down in your line of sight.
If you were giving a chance for Bakugo to redeem himself you couldn't bring yourself to do anymore with the two handsome devils before you- as tempting as they were. You were stuck in the middle of all three of them suddenly feeling crowded- "I'm sorry... I just...I just need to go home... I don't want to be a bother..." You whispered, you needed to hear Bakugo out before you make your final decision to move on.
