Still Broken

Finale (Sorry)

Here is the finale. Sorry bout this I really am. But thank you so much for all the support you've given me over the course of these stories.

*Time skip to after the defeat of Gaia*

I slowly opened my eyes to see fire. Fire burning as bright as the sun right in front of my face. There was screaming. I was screaming. I was screaming! I was alive! But what? Why was I alive? I was supposed to have died in that explosion.

I slowly glanced up to see Annabeth with a needle stabbed into my arm. The Physicians Cure. I forgot all about our fail safe. Annabeth had pure rage in her eyes. But there was also grief and tiredness in them too. "Hey Gray you shouldn't look so glum. We won didn't we?" I croaked out at her. Her eyes flashed down to me and she crushed me in a hug.

"I thought you died! Don't ever do that to me again." I smiled a true genuine smile. For the first time in my life I felt like I was enough. I had proven myself. And everyone else could see it too.

"I make no promises but I'll try." I hugged her back as she tried to help me up. I felt pretty good. "Wow for almost dying I feel pretty good!" I grinned as Annabeth rolled her eyes. We walked over to the battle field where some people were fighting still but most just looked up at the sky confused. The monsters were the only ones still fighting and soon enough the demigods on both sides had enough and sent them back to Tartarus.

I met up with the rest of the seven and Piper slapped me hard across the face. "What is wrong with you Valdez! You could have died permanently! I hate you!" Then she also crushed me in a hug. "Don't ever do that again you scared me half to death." The rest just all looked relieved that I was alive. We walked towards the camp to see what damage had been done.

————Time skip————

We were all gathered in the dining pavilion playing Uno. Hazel had never played before yet she had gotten all the plus 4 cards. We were joking and having a good time together. It had been a few days since the war and we needed to recover. We lost a lot of good demigods and yet here all seven of us were still alive.

I didn't know what was gonna happen next. I didn't know how many of us would live to see another month, even another day. But I know that we'll be in it together.

I'm so sorry for the crap ending. I know it's really bad but I just couldn't finish the story completely. I just am going on a different direction with my stories.

You might've seen the few original stories I've done here and there but the one I'm working on now is going to be big. I've been planning and writing down what the story is gonna be for a few hours and I'm very excited to start posting it.
