Footsteps and small talk filled the streets as stores began to open. I was able to get through the first week of school alive, but now it's time to do it all over again. My plan was to ignore Bokuto, but it seems that he hasn't changed a bit since we were kids. He never stopped talking to me, even when the entire room was silent. Luckily, we were in the back, so the teacher didn't mind much.

I try not to engage in the one-sided conversations, but I can't help it. He always grabs my attention. But at least I can walk to and through the school without being bombarded by-

"Akashi!"

You gotta be kidding me... I need to stop thinking about him. He seems to appear every time I do! I kept walking, pretending that I couldn't hear him.

"Wait! Akashii...!" I could see the pout forming on the man's lips in the back of my mind. The image made me sigh as I turned around to face him. "Good morning Bokuto."

"Why didn't you stop the first time I called!" Bokuto said, smiling and bouncing towards me. He stopped in front of me, towering above me. Bokuto is only an inch or two taller than me, but he always seems to make me feel small. Not that I mind, he has made me feel this way since the first day I met him.

Somethings have changed though, like how broad his shoulders are. Bokuto also has packed on some muscle since our younger days. Sometimes I could see them better depending on the shirts he wears-

"You ok Akashi? You've been staring at my chest for the past minute." Bokuto waved his hand in front of my face, snapping me out of my thoughts as my cheeks became red. I swallowed hard before clearing my throat, "yes, yes I'm fine. Why are you here Bokuto? I've never seen you walk this way before."

Bokuto's smile faded and his brow scrunch. I knew this expression, it was his concentrating face. "Oh! My roommate refused to drop me off! Stupid rooster head!" Bokuto stuck out his tongue like a child before pouting.

I shook my head, "well you can come with me, let's go." I had to invite him; he would have followed me anyways. Bokuto grinned and stuffed his hands into his gray hoodie. We walked together down the streets until Bokuto randomly stopped in front of a store.

I turned around and glanced at him then store. "No, Bokuto we will be late for the train." I frowned.

"But Akashiii! Their donuts are so good!" One thing I've noticed about Bokuto is that when he gets sad his hair gets sad too. The parted locks began to droop down, as Bokuto's puppy eyes started to sparkle. I couldn't take it anymore.

"Fine, fine. Just stop making that face at me, ok? Did you bring any money?"

Bokuto sucked in his lips as he felt around his pockets. His eyes went soft as his hair grew depressed again. "I'll pay for you, stop with that face already." I said, rolling my eyes and opening the door to the small shop.

"You're the best Akashi!" Bokuto cheered.

"I'm aware." I mumbled with a sigh.

The shop was called Farm House. Their employees welcomed us in with smiles as we waited in line. I took out my phone to look at the time. "Oh Akashi! Let's take a photo!" Bokuto exclaimed.

"I don't think that's a good idea." I replied, closing my phone and turning to him.

"Why not?!"
