A/N~ Sorry that I haven't posted in a few weeks! School is soul sucking I swear. But anyways thank you for 100 reads! Hope you enjoy
Hair tickled my neck as my shoulder shifted to support the uneven weight. Kenma's small snores made a gentle smile form on my lips. "He must have been exhausted from the wedding." Iwaizumi hummed.
Liquor swirled in small waves as Oikawa pulled a cup to his lips. His heavy eyes glared down at the table below him. Pale lips touched the glass, almost missing the cup entirely.
I stared at the pretty boy while Iwaizumi patted his back. Me, Oikawa, Kenma, and Iwaizumi sat at one of the many empty tables. Since the wedding is coming to a close, the room is less crowded.
Konoha and Daishou left a few minutes ago since practice was tomorrow. The others in our party were sending off guests.
"Hey Oikawa?" I called out. The brunette didn't react to my voice. His pale cheeks were flared, and his eyes lacked all energy. The expression concerned me.
Iwaizumi sighed, "I wouldn't try. When drunk, he gets lost in his own world. Either thinking about his past or future. For both our sakes, I hope it's the future."
The statement made me lift a brow. Thinking about it, I know nothing about Oikawa's past. Much less Iwaizumi's.
I know they all grew up around one another but that's about it. "W-What happened in his past?" I hesitated, much to my dismay. Oikawa seems like the type to never be put down. So, it's surprising to hear he has a dark past.
"His dad was crazy." The spikey haired man started, taking a sip of Oikawa's drink before continuing.
"Well crazy isn't the word I would use, only because Oikawa doesn't like it. His dad was more toxic towards Oikawa's sister in all honesty. Looking at her now, you would never have guessed what she's been through." Once again Iwaizumi sighed.
"Is that supposed to be a compliment Hedgehog?" A teasing voice tuned in. Iwaizumi stiffened while I turned my head to the woman behind him.
Oikawa's sister flexed a brow at her brother and his lover. She tilted her head up and gave me a smile, "sorry that I haven't introduced myself to you. My name is Kimiko. Oikawa Kimiko."
She let out her hand for me to take, I took it gingerly. "My name is Akashi Keiji." I mumbled, my anti-social self coming to light.
Kimiko pulled her hand back and pressed it on top of Iwaizumi's head. "Why did you let him drink." The sister scoffed while taking away Oikawa's glass with her other hand.
Iwaizumi frowned, "when he returned to the table he was already drinking. Plus, he's a grown man, I think he can take care of himself."
I stayed quiet and watched as the two exchanged words. Something about their interaction interested me. Though, my mind did wonder off to Oikawa's past. What could have happened?
I know what it's like to have a bad family experience. My adopted mother wasn't the sanest person either, neither was the rest of her family.
Funny thing is, I was never physically abused. All of it was emotional and mental. When I was younger, my mother's constant pressure would make me sick. That sickness led to me losing the energy to take my meds, which only made things worse.
My meds don't 'stop' my mental illness. They make it so my brain reacts differently to stimulus. To put it in simple terms, my meds make me feel less emotion. The less emotional I am, the more stable my brain is.
