Heyyy! Chapter 6 (finally)!  Sorry I haven't been very active! So, I have a serious question here about the ending of this fanfic... Do y'all want a happy ending or a sad ending? Tell me in the comments if you want! Anyways this is kind of a filler chapter so it isn't very good (actually it's one of the worst), I'm really sorry! I do want to end this fanfic in a couple chapters, though, because I'm starting to loose motivation for it, so yeah, happy or sad ending?

Freddie's POV:

And... Submit!

I had finally submitted the application for the Hollywood Arts interstate exchange program for Sam. It took a lot of convincing and, uh... ointment rubbing... To get Sam's mom to fill out her details. Pam Puckett... Now I see where Sam gets her, well, Sam-ish-ness from. Pam was indeed a character. When I parked my bike in front of the Puckett house, the first thing I heard was very loud screaming. It was Pam, she was repeating the words "fried chicked" over and over. It was definitely not what I had imagined would greet me to Sam's home (and I had envisioned many wacky scenarios), but I wasn't surprised when I heard it - I mean, Pam is a relative of Sam's! But anyways, she said she would only fill out her details if I rubbed her ointment on her back... Yeah, I know. Gross. But I did it. I just hope the smell of the ointment fades sooner rather than later.

Whew! I fell back onto my bed. Finally, it was done! It look a good few hours to get Pam's details in the form, and filling out the rest in my bedroom took a few more, plus I had to notify the school. And then there was convincing Sam to send me a video of her singing, but that was a story for another time. I lay on my bed, staring at the ceiling, beginning to drift off. I hoped beyond hope that this would work....

~~~
"Ugh, you're such a nub!" Sam groaned from the kitchen. We had just been debating on weather or not we should to to build-a-bra.
"Hey, I thought I was your boyfriend now!"
"You are, doesn't mean I stop calling you names."
Huh, maybe some things will just never change.
I scoffed.
"So... Have you got any emails recently?" I asked.
"No, who checks their email anyways?" Sam replied.
"I do..." I said, sheepishly.
Sam rolled her eyes.
"Well, of course you do! Why d'you want me to check my email anyways?"
"Oh, no reason!" I said, quickly.
There was a pause.
"I don't believe you." Sam sneered.
Before I could react, Carly walked back in. She had been talking about going to build-a-bra - in fact, she was the one who brought it up - but she went to the bathroom. She had now returned, smelling like fresh daisies (the Shay's have this really cool daisy smelling liquid soap which I use as frequently as possible, to the point where I go in their bathroom just to use the soap).
"So, we going to build-a-bra?" Carly asked.
"No!"
"Yes!"
Me and Sam both shouted in unison. Carly rolled her eyes at us.
"Honestly, you two! How about me and Sam go to build a bra while you go do whatever. Then you can rent us a movie and we can all meet up here at my place to watch it at, say, 4 'o' clock?"
"Sounds good to me!" Sam smiled.
"I dunno..." I started. But they were already out the door. Typical.
I decided to go back to my place, I still had plenty of time till 4. I opened my email. Hollywood Arts was supposed to email me, Sam and Sam's mom to inform us as to weather or not Sam had gotten in. The exchange program was a single semester program where 8 kids from other states who wouldn't usually get a chance to be at a school like Hollywood Arts got to be students there. They would stay at the school for that semester, but be given the freedom to go wherever they liked after school and on weekends, as long as they got back to the school by 10:30 pm, unless they inform the school that they would return late or won't return that night. I really wanted this for Sam, she was so talented and deserved to have that talent nurtured. I wanted to surprise her with this, do something nice for my girlfriend (ooh, boy, did I love saying that!). And as for iCarly, I had already developed a piece of software that would allow us to do it long distance.
I opened my email and refreshed the page. Aw shucks, no new emails. I guess I'll have to wait. I got bored and decided to watch a telenovela; it was called Pasión De Gavilanes. I managed to binge a bunch of episodes, frequently checking my email in between each one. No email yet. It was 3:30 now, I decided to head out to get the movie.
I got on my bike and cycled up to the movie rental store. It wasn't too busy, so there were lots of movies to pick from. I decided to rent this new movie I'd seen a lot of advertising for: Blind Dual. It was an action-thriller, I thought it looked cool. Weather it would please Carly and Sam I was unsure, but I rented the movie and began my trip back to Bushwell Plaza.
While I cycled, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. As much as I was tempted to pull it out, I knew very well that it wasn't a very god idea to check your phone while on the road; as mother would say, "do not text while you drive, for if you do, you will die". I hated that poem, it gave me the creeps - where does mom come up with this stuff?! Technically, I wasn't driving - I was cycling - but I still didn't check my phone till I got back to Bushwell.
Finally, I arrived. I had a new email. Wait... I had a new email!!! I clicked on the little email logo as fast as I could and waited for it to open. Ugh, it was taking ages to load but finally it did.
Subject: HA Interstate Exchange Program
Dear Ms. Puckett,
Thank you for submitting the application for our interstate exchange program taking place here, at Hollywood Arts, L.A. on behalf of your daughter, Samantha Puckett. We have viewed the video you submitted of Samantha singing and are deeply impressed with her large vocal range, beautiful tonality, excellent songwriting skills and musical ear. We are of the opinion that she definitely has potential and is already an extremely talented artist, and we believe that Hollywood Arts would be the perfect place for her to nurture her talent. We hope that Samantha will be able to join us at Hollywood Arts next semester for our interstate exchange program.
Thank you,
Principal Eikner
(P.S, I am a huge fan of iCarly, and considering Samantha - your daughter - is part of this excellent web show, I was wondering if you could pull some strings to get the rest of the iCarly gang (Fredward Benson, Carly Shay and Orenthal Gibson) to join Samantha at Hollywood Arts next semester?)
I couldn't believe it... I was ready to scream for joy! I couldn't believe what I had just read. Not only had Sam gotten into the Hollywood Arts interstate exchange program, but me, Carly and Gibby (I assume Orenthal Gibson meant Gibby?) were invited to join her at HA too! I decided that I would surprise Sam after the movie and began trotting to the elevator to begin the movie.
