Chapter 13 - Peace

"Yoneda....is Naruto."

Tsunade sighed, burying her head in her arms as she lied on the table with furrowed eyebrows.

"What should we do....Hokage-sama?" Sakura frowned. "Naruto....I really don't want to hurt him but he...."

"He killed Kakashi....there's no way the council would just let him go without saying anything. Besides.....they want the Kyuubi back," Sasuke stated.

"I know, I know," Tsunade let out another frustrated sigh. "Get Kiba's team. Give orders to track down Na- Yoneda. You guys, along with Ino-Shika-Cho will assist them in their search."

"And if we find him?" Sakura asked.

Tsunade sat up straight. "Shizune!"

The door opened as Shizune walked in, a black haired teen their age following behind.

As he closed the door, he turned back to Sakura and Sasuke with an obviously fake smile. "Nice to meet you. I am Sai."

"Sai will be coming along with you as a member of your team. If you do find Naruto.....Yoneda, he will inform us and we will send a few more reinforcements just in case. Try to avoid a fight if possible. You will only capture him when reinforcements arrive, unless you have no choice." Tsunade spoke.

"Why won't the reinforcements just come along?" Sasuke asked.

"We need more shinobi protecting Konoha now that we lost Kakashi. And speaking of Kakashi...." Tsunade pulled out a file. "Team Kakashi is hereby disbanded."

Sakura's eyes widened.

"You will be forming a new team....Team Sakura."

There was silence.

"E-Eh? Me?" Sakura stammered.

"Yes. Sakura Haruno, you are now in charge of leading Team Sakura," Tsunade spoke.

"B-But why, Tsunade-sama? I'm quite possibly the weakest in this team, and I'm only a medical ninja! I should be playing the support role..." Sakura frowned.

"As a medical ninja, yes you are to play the support role in battles. However, this team needs someone to keep the members in check."

Sasuke hid his annoyed expression, eyebrow slightly twitching.

Sai kept smiling.

"Defy Sakura's orders and your actions will be considered treason," Tsunade spoke. 

'Isn't that a bit...too....serious...?' Sasuke blinked. 'Treason?'

"Go get the two other teams and have them ready for this mission. Remember the goal of this mission. Track down Yoneda and capture him back to Konoha ALIVE when reinforcements arive."

"Hai!"
"Hai!"
"Hai!"

"Say, why don't we stop at the dango stand?"

Naruto sighed, brushing his hair with his fingers. "Whatever."

"Let's go then, brother!!" Shinji grinned, running towards the dango stand as Naruto followed.

"Hmm? Welcome," the man running the stand greeted with a smile. "How many sticks?"

"How many sticks do you want, brother?" Shinji asked.

"Just one is enough," Naruto answered.

"Three sticks of Mitarashi Dango then!" Shinji turned back to the man who nodded.

Satisfied, he went to take a seat next to Naruto who moved away a bit.

"Can you stop calling me that?"

"Call what?" Shinji asked.

"Calling me brother. It sounds......weird," Naruto said.

"What else should I call you then? LIttle brother? My dear otouto?" Shinji smirked teasingly.

"Shut up. Just Naruto is enough," the blonde grumbled under his breath.

"I mean, you were born a minute later than me," Shinji shrugged.

Naruto's eye twitched in annoyance.

"Ah! Here it is!" Shinji grinned handing Naruto a stick of dango.

"Thanks," Naruto muttered quietly.

As they ate in silence, Shinji spoke up.

"Say, Naruto..." the black haired teen said. "What do you think of me?"

Naruto glanced at Shinji a second before looking away again. "I don't know."

"Boooooring," Shinji whined.

"Then stop following me."

"We're brothers."

"*groan*"
